TATE CONCRETE

They showed when promised for the estimate, the estimate was reasonable, they outlined what they would do to help our project, they showed when promised, they were courteous and neat, and they did an excellent job.

Would have no problem recommending this company for future work.   Very nice people.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.  THEY HAVE ZERO INTEGRITY NOR WILL THEY STAND BY THEIR WORK...I hired them in 2012 after returning from Iraq, to repair a step that had sunk because my builder (Signature Builder) who went out of business shortly after we bought the house, did very poor work.  It took many phone calls for them to come out because apparently my step job wasn't big enough for them to order a concrete truck so it had to be combined with another job.  Finally they sent their son in law, who admitted to me when he got there that he was just helping out and that he really didn't do much of that kind of work, but because Tate came recommended from a ?friend? I trust, I figured they would do the job right.  The son in law did tell me that he believed I had a water problem cause by my gutters being too small, so I hired a gutter company and had them install nice big gutters so this would not happen again.  SIX MONTHS after they "repaired the steps" they began to collapse.  I spent the next 24 months calling Tate concrete to come back out and fix it.  Marjorie always had 1000 excuses; my husband is having back problems, we are waiting to find another job to combine with yours, the weather is bad, we?ll be out as soon as we can, it's winter, it? raining, etc etc.  She promised they would be out last fall and they never came. As the winter began I spoke with them and informed them that I had waited patiently and that now my daughter WHO IS A DOUBLE AMPUTEE and wears PROSTHETIC LEGS was not able to get up the steps and it would be worse in the winter, because the steps were uneven.  Marjorie acted like she cared and felt bad, but they didn?t.  They promised  that in the spring they would finally come out and fix my step.  I had to call 4 times and send 2 text messages and finally today, May 7, 2015 I spoke to Jan and he informs me, TWENTY FOUR MONTHS later, that there is nothing he can do and  that it has only settle 7 inches and that's ok, and that I have a water problem and that there is no way he can guarantee that work.

WHATTTTTTT??????????????????? are you kidding me?  When I spoke with him I was very upset and immediately he did what s******* business person does when they have no integrity and someone calls them out ?Sir I?m not going to sit here and have you yell at me.?  I admit I raised my voice, but I was loud but polite.  They eventually came out and slapped some concrete in the gap of the steps and called it done.  I will never use them again for anything and anyone that asks me I will for sure tell them not to use them.  There is probably a reason they are not members of the BBB.  You?ve been warned!
