Scoop and Sit Pet Sitting and Waste Removal

one cat got a urinary tract infection. I do not blame Jayne, however, she neglected to inform me that she was dropping me as a client due to this issue. I did not become aware of this until I needed her again 9 months later when she ignored my numerous requests for service. I have been trying desperately to get my house key returned to absolutely no avail. She does not respond to any type of communication. I had to change all of the locks on my property which cost me over $100. She is extremely unprofessional. I would not trust this person with a goldfish!

I just moved to the Brownsburg area from Ohio, and needed to find a pet sitter while I'm working long hours at work. Jayne from Scoop and Sit is nothing less than amazing. My dogs love her and she goes above and beyond. I just had a death in my family, and Jayne went out of her way to provide around the clock visits for my pets with little notice, so I could travel out of town. She cared for my pets as if they were her own, and provide me visit updates on every visit with the pups. She also does little things that make a difference. She noticed while I was out of town that my lawn mowers removed the dog tie outs from the ground when mowing. She had her husband reinstall them, so I wouldn't have to worry about that in the dark when I got home late at night. She also took it upon herself to bring in my mail while out of town, as well as all of my Amazon boxes that came to the house. Lastly, she didn't want my plants to die when I was out of town, so she took it upon herself to water the newly planted landscaping without even being asked. Jayne is an amazing caring person with a heart of gold. If you are in the Brownsburg area and need help with your pets, I highly recommend her. She treats your pets as if they were her own, and she treats people she doesn't even know as if they were family!!!

Jayne was punctual and took such great care of our dogs/chinchilla. We feel completely comfortable and safe leaving our home and our fur-babies in her care. If you're looking for a reliable pet sitter who absolutely loves animals and is in it for the well-being of your pet, go with Scoop and Sit. It's also so nice knowing someone is checking on the house too (in case something goes wrong while you're out of the area). She also sends us updates and photos too. :) We also have Jayne cleaning our yard weekly which is another great service. She comes every week and leaves our yard clean of dog poop. It's a relief having her come every week to take care of this house chore we're not jumping up to do.

I left 2 email requests and called and left 1 voice mail message over a period of 4 days and this business didn't acknowledge any of them. 1 email was sent through the Angie's list sight, and 1 was sent directly through this business's website. I waited a couple of days and then called their number and left a detailed message with my correct telephone number on Wed. 2/26 around 10:30 AM, and it's now Thurs. 2/27 around 2:30 PM, and I haven't heard a word from them. This is very poor customer service and no way to run a business. They had 3 opportunities to do the right thing, and they failed each time,

Services has been going great! No issues. Updated June 2013-- A few things I started to notice about my services I was paying for. --No return emails --No notice saying she was there --No calls/text/emails saying why she wasn't able to come or pick up waste --No emails/calls/text stating she needed to change days she came to our home. I sent Jayne a few emails about small things like our yard being flooded and not needing service or that I would be working several days and didn't need service that week. Never got a response. I would have thought a simple Thanks for the message or anything would have been a way of knowing she got the messages. A few evenings I had went outside and noticed that there was a smell of dog waste outside my front door. I began to notice that there were several VERY noticeable places in the yard were waste wasn't being picked up. When I originally set up this service I was told that I would be serviced weekly on Monday/Tuesday morning/afternoon. When I was getting the statements they began to state days other than a Monday or Tuesday. The dates I was being billed for were between 5-9 days apart. I paid for a 1 time a week service not a here and there service. When I was sending emails to Jayne in the previous months I had received an instant or very quick reply. The last 3 emails I had sent her had no response within a week. I had called her directly and left a message stating to please call me about my service and emails I had sent.---Still no response. The last and final email I sent her stating I no longer wanted to get services from here she quickly responded. Stating that she had received my emails and had planned on doing the overnight sits for me and put them on her calendar, yet I never received a message from her stating this. Professionally speaking I understand she runs a business and has other people's animals she works with daily. However, when I am paying for a service that is not really needed I expect to receive quality care. A simple email stating she received my messages and has been busy or would call me would have been great. Waiting until the last minute to respond to emails because service is not going well is not good. She did agree to take the last week off of our bill. Her prices are good however the service quality as went down hill.

The company did an initial poop removal and I selected the service to clean every other week.thereafter. They do an excellent job keeping my yard cleaned of my 2 Labs' poop.

We liked the convenience. They were definitely personable. We've been using them for probably two years. We would definitely use them again.

It was done very quickly and professionally and she was extremely friendly. A cleaning/sanitizing spray was put down afterwards. I definitely recomend the service and will use them again.

The owner of the company is kind, friendly and a thoughtful women. She cares as much about the owners as she does about the pets. I am very pleased with her services, and will continue to use her. I also can recommend her highly!

We couldn't be more pleased with Jayne and her company's performance! We are completely comfortable leaving Jayne to take care of our cats as well as our house when we are gone. She is reliable and showed up the day we called. Jayne is not just our cat/house sitter - she has become our friend!

I was in need of a pet sitter during the Christmas Holiday for my 2-cats that I had recently adopted from my sister. Jayne called me within the hour after sending an email and said that she would be available. She came over to meet my furry little kids a few days later and my male cat who is rather feisty and not all that trusting took to her right away which is unusual. The little female was skittish but came around. I had asked Jayne to feed and water them once a day, clean out their litter boxes daily, vacuum/sweep if needed and rotate their food. She did that and more by sprucing up my vacuum cleaner and kept the collection container empty. Plus, she sat with my skittish little girl and held her on her lap, so she spent time with them both. On top of that, while I was out I needed to extend my stay in Illinois by one day and she agreed within minutes. When I returned home I found my cats content, their boxes cleaned and the areas around them swept. I was extremely pleased, the services are reasonably priced, the quality of her services are very high and I personally will be using her services again in the future. I strongly suggest using Jayne and would trust her with any of my pets.

I couldn't be happier with our first experience with Scoop and Sit. I left voice mails for many sitters and Jayne was the first to respond. Unlike many sitters, I don't believe she charged extra for gas or Thanksgiving holiday hours. She was very friendly and professional. She talked to us as if she was a long friend, and you could tell she loved dogs. She treated our just as if they were her own (she said she has a few..four?). She went above and beyond by cleaning up after the dogs when they were minorly distructive in the house. She call and texted us updates on each visit. She was very flexible with hours--we just gave her three hours (2pm/8pm/8am) and she fit it right in her schedule. She was also flexible with arrangements--she offered to drop by to pick up a key right before we left, for example. We will certainly work with her again. We usually used to take our dogs to Barkafellers. This is a much better solution--it is slightly cheaper for multiple dogs, the dogs were left out of their crates all day, we didn't have to worry about ridiculously early pick up and drop off times, etc.

Jayne did a fantastic job! We were gone for 10 days and when we returned, the cats (and house) were in great shape! We would text Jayne periodically for updates and she was always quickly responsive. We couldn't be more pleased with the great service Jayne provides!!!

They do a fabulous job - Ivy enjoys her time and it gives us peace of mind to know she's getting her midday breaks and notification if she's not feeling well.

We have used them before and the pets are always happy and well cared for.
