Newby's Quality Painting

Brian and his crew are a full-on, straight-ahead, class act. They know what they're doing, and have the tools to carry out the job. Brian carved time out of an already busy schedule to get my interior painted on a particularly aggressive timetable which included painting, drywall repair, and flooring. They arrived on-time and ready to work consistently, stayed on-task, kept the workspace clean, and finished ahead of schedule. The entire crew was clean, presentable, and personable. What's more, it was evident that they really cared about the work, and my satisfaction thereof. Satisfied I am, no doubt about it. The interior walls (and baseboards) in my house look GREAT. Hiring Newby Quality Painting was money very well spent. Rock on!

Went very well ! They did a very good job and all employees were friendly and nice. They left no messes behind, cleaned up both days. I plan to have them paint the outside of my home, prices was very reasonable ! I highly recommend them !

I've used this man and his company for years. I didn't write a review because I was not happy. I was really surprised given his past work. He has done interior work and the interior work was good. There was a lack of prepping of the old wood work on the exterior, there was very poor cleanup on a daily basis and there was destruction of my garage door panel because they should not have used a high pressure water power cleaner. The garage door panels themselves were like pasteurized wood and he wouldn't have known that until they destroyed them and hen hey painted over them. Then the first time the rain hit, you could see, it all just bubbled up. It removed the seal of the wood and then it opened it up. It's just a mess. I should have called them back and have them replace it but I was over it by the time they were gone. I had to do a lot of cleaning up on a daily basis and at the end, they painted most of my windows shut. I thought the price was fair because I had a couple of estimates and that's what I expected. The job took much longer than necessary because his workers rarely worked an 8 to 5 day. His workers sometimes didn't show up or they only worked like 4 or 5 hours. Brian is the hard worker, it's kind of sad but it's his choice to hire who he wants to hire.

Brian Newby was very responsive. We had to coordinate schedules due to his current jobs, but he came as promised and did a great job.

They were good. They finished the job I wanted but some areas in the wall are cracked and they could have put something on the wall before painting it but they didn't though I think they did a good job overall.

They were very good! Showed up on time, let me know exactly what they would be doing, and made sure that all furniture was well covered. I asked if they would hang mirrors in the bath area and they agreed...didn't charge me extra! My husband felt that they were the best painters that we have ever used!

Easy to schedule, excellent work

Mr. Newby painted 2 bedrooms. Both rooms had vaulted ceilings and built
ins and required additional work. Mr. Newby is top notch and as stated
in prior reviews a skilled trades man. The quality was great. They did a

Brian and his crew did a great job! They arrived on time and got right to work. Brian is very professional and accommodating. He was also helpful with advice about painting that I was doing in another room. We are very happy with the work and will definitely call Brian for future painting services.

Brian Newby did a wonderful job.  He got straight to work with no mess or fuss.  He was very courteous.  This "Bid Deal" was a great way to see his workmanship.  The bedroom had a lot of cutting in to do (the window, around 2 closets, and a door).  He handled it quickly and easily.  We'll use him again for future painting needs.

Brian Newby arrived on time and with a helper. He explained that the Deal was for one person for eight man-hours but since there were two of them, he would offer 10 man hours - basically, they would be able to accomplish the task in 5 hours or less. A true professional, he used top quality brushes and draped all the furniture. 
The job entailed painting the ceiling, two different colors on the walls and trim, plus painting inside a walk-in closet. The first coat of paint didn't cover the lightest shade in the room, so he painted a second coat and it looked perfect. There was a lot of detailed woodwork and he was able to paint it without taping! This was a big deal because there was a chair rail separating the two wall colors, he had to do it freehand. And, it looks great!
Keep in mind - because he is a talented painter, you will need to book up early! Don't expect to buy a "Deal" and have him appear the next day. We waited three weeks, and I can tell you - it was worth the wait.

Very professional team. Accurate estimate. Price was high but you get what you pay for I guess. I would definitely recommend them for the quality of service but had to hold back from doing the whole house due to price.

The painters did a great job and were very meticulous and detail oriented. I was pleased that at the end of the job they were sure that I was satisfied and made all the touch ups that I noted. Very pleased with their work.

There were no problems with the contractor. The guys were friendly and did a good job. They were professional and drove company vans. Most painters are shady, but these guys are pros. I will use them again.

Went well, I did have to show him places where he missed (along a baseboard) and felt I needed to always double check that things were the way I wanted them, but he always fixed anything I showed him.

All aspects of the jojb from the original estimate to the final walkthrough were performed on time and at or under the original estimate. While I did receive qutoes for lower amounts, those estimates did not include the quality of products nor the site preperation that were provided by Brian Newby. I would highly recommend Newby Painting and would not hesitate to use Brian for any home painting job.

NOT ONLY DOES THE FINISHED WORK LOOK GREAT, BUT EXTENSIVE PREPARATION WAS DONE TO MAXIMIZE THE TIME BEFORE REPAINTING IS NEEDED. BRIAN AND HIS CREW LIVE UP TO THE COMPANY'S NAME WITH GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL, INCLUDING CLEANUP.
