We found McCloud's Creative Concepts while searching for a table that would be very special and a little different. We met with Gary at his workshop, saw some of his example work, and toured the workshop. He helped us design the table using a smattering of photo's that we found online as inspiration. He sent us a quote and some initial drawings within days, we asked for a few changes to focus in on our dream. While Gary worked on refreshing the design, he also located a cache of Indiana harvested Cherry lumber. We were able to pick out each board, some with knots of sizes that we thought made it look older, and even picked out the width of the boards. Gary led us thru that process in a very caring manner. Gary did a great job allowing us to get everything exactly how we wanted it. He sent us samples to compare to other things in our dining room and see how the stain worked with the wood. We were able to watch the process via pictures and he updated us on a regular basis. The end result is a beautiful farmhouse table that surpassed all of our expectations. Gary's craftsmanship and care are very evident in the way he worked with us on this project. I highly recommend him for any custom woodwork, I can especially vouch for the farmhouse table!
