Our son broke his father's game room chair horseplaying and I freaked. I found furniture fix on Angies list which is near my home..I took the broken chair there and was given a quote..I liked the quote and the friendly nature of all there and decided to leave the chair for repair. I was called a little over a week later that my chair was ready. I was amazed at the wonderful job they did in repairing the chair and restoring peace in my home:) Thank you furniture fix!

I had driven out there and dropped it off. On my way home, they called to let me know it was completed. Made my day!

She was very nice and explained they are now called Furniture Restoration, but still have the same employees. They had really done a good job before on the table so I will probably use them again for these items.

They were very nice people. Everything they did was done promptly and on time. They took such excellent care of everything I would highly recommend them.

Furniture Medic came to the house, did repairs there, price very reasonable.

The folks are Furniture Medic were wonderful. I suffer with lower back issues and my most comfortable recliner finally failed after 14 years. It was expensive when it was purchased and I wasn't looking forward to replacing it with a new one (estimated $1700 for new chair). When Randy looked at the chair he remarked that the chair was otherwise in good condition and that if the mechanism could be found the chair could be fixed and would last for many more years. Betty the office manager placed several calls to the manufacture in Hickory, NC, and was able to find the proper mechanism and arranged to get the part shipped. Normally one wouldn't consider this a difficult process, however this manufacturer doesn't sell parts to furniture repair only businesses. So Betty went above and beyond for me. The work was completed in a timely manner and the chair is as good as new. I couldn't be more pleased.

Great service! When Dawn initially came out to look at it, she advised me the mechanism was covered under a lifetime warranty. Since I didn't have the receipt handy, she waited until I called the company I purchased it from. When they weren't much help, she made a few calls for me, without luck. I found the receipt (and the model number) several months later and scheduled the actual repair. She was early to the appointment and took about two hours to fix the chair, even repairing a part we didn't know was broke. Excellent service and excellent work. I am enjoying the recliner again and appreciate not having to pay for an expensive repair or a new chair.

They matched the color perfectly to what it had been and restored it to excellent quality. They were very pleasant to deal with.

We called for an estimate. They came buy a week later (they were very busy). They looked over the dresser top, gave us an estimate, then we asked about the mirror and they said someone would call in a few days with an estimate on that. We received the estimates, called and told them to do the job. They gave us a date they would pickup the furniture and said it would take one to two weeks for completion. They called ahead on what date they could deliver the completed furniture and we agreed. They delivered both pieces and we were totally impressed with their work. I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work.

DAWN IS EXCELLENT. SHE IS ALWAYS PROMPT AND DOES A NICE JOB. YOU CANNOT SEE THE REPAIR.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND DELIVERED IT TO ME.

THEY DID AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL JOB. THE TABLE LOOKS LIKE NEW. THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF A VERY LARGE JOB, SO THE WAIT WOULD BE LONGER THAN USUAL, BUT THEIR ESTIMATE WAS ACCURATE, AND THE JOB WAS DONE BY THE TIME I NEEDED THE TABLE. I HAD SEEN THEIR WORK PREVIOUSLY IN A REPAIR JOB THAT THEY DID AT MY WORK. THAT, TOO, WAS GREAT. YOU COULDN'T SEE WHERE THE REPAIRS HAD BEEN MADE IN A VERY LIGHT COLORED COUNTER. I'D DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN!

MY FURNITURE WAS DULL AND HAD SOME SCRATCHES, BUT IT DID NOT NEED A COMPLETE STRIPPING SO THIS WAS ENOUGH TO BRIGHTEN IT UP AND ELIMINATE THE OBVIOUS IMPERFECTIONS. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE HAD FURNITURE MEDIC DO WORK FOR ME. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED. THEY HAVE ALSO RE-STAPLED UPHOLSTERY AND TOUCHED UP THE SCRATCHES ON A DESK WITHOUT REMOVING THOSE ITEMS FROM MY HOME. THEY SAID FURNITURE USUALLY TAKES 4-6 WEEKS, BUT MY DINING TABLE CAME BACK SOONER. 4-6 WEEKS WAS SIMILAR TO THE TIMEFRAME ESTIMATES FROM THOSE WHO OFFERED THE COMPLETE STRIPPING AND REFINISHING.

DAWN CAME WHEN SHE SAID SHE WOULD AND PERFORMED THE WORK QUIETLY AND COMPETENTLY. SHE WAS PERSONABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. BEST PART IS EVERYTHING WAS DONE IN MY HOME, I DID NOT HAVE TO TRANSPORT ANYTHING.

THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB RESTORING THE FURNITURE AND GAVE LOTS OF HELPFUL ADVICE. THEY WERE VERY NICE TO DEAL WITH. EVERYONE I'VE TALKED WITH FROM THE COMPANY HAS BEEN VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL.

DAWN WAS VERY KIND, COMPETENT AND COMPASSIONATE. SHE GAVE A FAIR PRICE. WHEN SHE COULD NOT MAKE THE RECLINER EASIER TO RECLINE, IT WAS NOT HER FAULT, IT WAS HOW THE RECLINER WAS MADE. SHE HAD WORKED VERY HARD ON THE RECLINER.

YOU CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE ON THE ITEMS THEY NEEDED TO FIX. THEY DID A GREAT JOB IN MATCHING THE STAIN AND COLOR.
