Craig & Dan were great. Prep and installation for this project went without any issues. Have used this company for my own house and knew just who to call to handle the new flooring for this project. SUCH an improvement!

I don’t even know where to start with this, but absolutely nothing about our experience here was good. It should’ve been my first red flag when they sent us a quote for the wrong flooring, but we wanted to support a local business rather than go through Empire or Home Depot. Here’s a shortened list of what you can expect: 1. We paid about $1k for them to move our furniture. They broke a shelf because they neglected to remove the glass first, and picked up the largest shards but left shattered glass on the shelf and floor. I have 3 cats so this was a HUGE concern for me. Additionally, they did not move the furniture back when they finished. 2. There are staples sticking out of at least 7 of our stairs that I’ve found by stepping on them. 3. There are pieces of carpet that are not even stapled or nailed down that you can literally just lift off the floor. 4. The trim in the kitchen is crooked, 2 pieces have fallen off and another 2 are halfway hanging off because they didn’t nail it in sufficiently. 5. We were stood up twice—the first time they called us at the exact time they should’ve been arriving to tell us they’d be there the next day. The second time, nobody informed us and I had to call and ask when we’d get our floors finished. 6. A couple of the transition strips were not installed correctly, so they stick up and scratch the bottom of the door frame. 7. They didn’t read the paperwork and ended up carpeting a closet that wasn’t supposed to be carpeted—which is fine, except that it was a closet full of furniture and power tools, and they didn’t return ANYTHING to it’s original place, but piled it all on top of each other. Luckily nothing was damaged, but this is a perfect example of their absolute incompetence. 8. We emailed them 3 weeks ago, were told almost 2 weeks ago that somebody would be in contact with us 3 days later to schedule a time for them to come fix everything that was wrong, and we haven’t heard from them. I’ll be fixing it myself because we clearly aren’t a priority anymore since they’ve already got our money. I’m so bummed about it, not only because we paid a LOT of money, but also because we wanted to avoid a big company and shop locally. Lesson learned.

After two negative experiences with other companies, I checked Floors For You. I was looking for installers of Coretec Pro flooring (Luxury Vinyl Plank) and noticed that they, also, were carriers of this brand. I went to their store on a Thursday afternoon, selected what I wanted, appointment for measuring was scheduled for the next morning. Lori came out and measured (Coretec Pro was going over vinyl in kitchen/bathrooms/entry, and anywhere there was carpet). When she finished, she was able to give me the estimate on the spot. Gave her the down payment to order the materials that day. Flooring needed to be ordered/shipped from manufacturer in Georgia, which I knew from my research. Installation was scheduled 2nd week in July over a three day period, which gave me time to finish moving almost 30 years of accumulated "stuff" out of the house. Two employees were out over the three days, approximately 5-6 hours each day. This was a 900 square foot house on one level. Work involved tear out/haul away carpet, removal of tack strips, installation of new flooring over the existing vinyl/concrete slab, install new quarter round and vinyl cove molding, glue down of quarter round as applicable, haul away debris and clean up. Stove and Fridge were pulled out and flooring installed underneath; appliances put back. Bookcases, sofa, loveseat, dining room table/chairs, desk, and bed were the pieces of furniture moved as everything else had been relocated to garage/POD. Because this is hard surface flooring, furniture just needed to be moved from one side of room to the other as work progressed. I am very happy with the flooring and the work done. I am appreciative of the timeliness of the entire process, especially after the two experiences with the other companies. I am thankful that FFY carried Coretec and sorry that I didn't find them in the first go around.

I'd give them all "A's" and I would use them again.  The sales people weren't great in the store, but we knew what we wanted and they had the best price for the product we wanted.  Their sales people could become a little more knowledgeable in my opinion.

The company was efficient,  reasonably priced compared to others, they provided nice quality of carpet that I love, and I would use them again. The workers were fine as far as I could remember.

Floors for You was right on time for the estimate and the performance of the work.  The estimate had a good level of detail and was accurate.  Work was timely and finished job quality was very good.

I didn't go with him, just because of his conduct when he came to give me the estimate. It was raining that day, he showed up 40 minutes late for the appointment, and it was a Saturday. His shoes were wet, and he didn't bother wiping them off, he just walked in the house. He went upstairs to measure the hall, and my son was sleeping, and his door was shut, and my wife had just gotten home from her exercise, and our bedroom door was shut and she was showering, and the master bathroom is right off the door to the bedroom. I heard him open my son's door and look around, and so I went upstairs, and told him that he didn't need to open the door to our master bedroom, and he went ahead and did it. I am not sure if he saw my wife undressed or not, and after that he said he needed to go in there. It was interesting because I had two other estimates done, and one was from Angie's List and I went with those guy. At the time they came out for the estimate, my son was again sleeping and the door was shut, and I asked them if they needed to open the door, and they said there was no reason to, because they were not carpeting that room. I don't know what he was thinking about. His business called me to see if we would be using them, and I told her about it, and while she apologized, she said she would  check into it, but I have never heard back. I thought it was really disturbing. I regret letting him finish the appointment, and I wish I had locked him out of my house. He ended up being in the ball park of $600 more than the company that I went with.  I had used them at a previous home, and I didn't have any problems, but I wasn't married then either. The lady on phone told me that maybe he didn't hear me, and I told her that when I told him he didn't need to go in there, he said he needed to go in there.

I liked the salespeople. Not as happy with the guy that came out, who happened to be the owner. He did the measuring and kind of changed the price quote on us. The interaction was very fine. The workers did a great job and the work was great. The one part was very unpleasant. The owner was late and he didn't call. I had to call to see where he was. I would probably use them again.

Jason and Jason did a great job.  I love how it turned out.  I already had a hard wood hallway that they were tying into.  The did the best they could matching it up and it turned out great.  Job started at 10:00 and they were done by 4:30 (without taking any breaks).  They cleaned up everything before they left and helped move a couple of pieces of furniture back to where they belonged.  I would definitely use them again!

Free initial estimate which is nice- it was done after hours which worked great on my schedule as they are open late. The person doing the estimate was not very pleasant. I was very interested in scheduling the service and asked how I go about doing so, the response I received was "pay x amount (full amount) right now." Later I find out they take a deposit and the remainder is paid after service.
I was in a bind on time and they could get me in at the beginning of the following week. I called in and gave my credit card information and scheduled the work to be done. The installer showed up on time with a courtesy call and quickly did the job. He was very rude as well. There was a mis-communication in their office for payment (they were holding CC information) and they insisted to collect the CC information of the person at the residence. That was given over and the installer refused to leave an invoice.  Eventually, after a few phone calls between the office and technician they discovered that CC information was being held at the office already. The whole experience being a positive one was curtailed by  the technicians having poor attitudes. The office staff was pleasant both instances I had spoken to them.
Final note: It would add a nice touch to vacuum the area that was re-stretched. That could make the difference in "oh, it looks fine" to "this looks great" upon first site.

When I had my house built in 2003, Floors for You installed all of the flooring (carpet, ceramic and hardwood).  Based on that experience we chose Floors for You to replace the carpet and vinyl in my wife's house that we were getting prepared to sell.
We went into the store several time and they let us borrow various samples to see how they would look in the house.  We recieved estimates from Floors for You and another local company.  Frank came and completed the estimate in person and was very detailed in what was needed and made appropriate suggestions.
Once we chose the flooring to be installed, we set up an installation date that met our schedule,  Installation went great with no problems.
We replaced carpet in the living area, 3 bedrooms and a hallway and replaced the vinyl in the kitchen and utility room.
Everyone in the store and all the installers were easy to work with and overall it was a pleasant experience.

I contacted Floors for You as I used them previously to tile my kitchen floor during a remodel. While on my hands and knees, I noticed a mess with the grout. I called the company and the owner came out with the workman and made it right. Because they chose to make it right, I selected them for my carpet. The carpet looked good, but they left dings on my new drywall and some damage to the woodwork. There was also a mess that needed to be addressed. They were ready to leave when I questioned the clean up. They used my vacuum and agreed to clean up the area. I didn’t notice the damage until after they left. I called the owner and he never got back with me. I may have my general contractor address the damaged areas now. I would not recommend or use them ever again.

From the purchase to the finish we had no problems. The store staff and their contract installers were first rate!! They were on time, cleaned up after the installation, and we paid about $100 under the contract estimate!!!...Nice people.

We used this company for a long time and we usually had carpet put in. When we used them for this flooring, they did not put it in correctly. There are large areas between boards where they don't meet and they dip up on the sides. We had them out twice and they told us that it is a water problem, we should have our dishwasher fixed, and they would not fix the damage because it was our fault. We had a repair man come out and he confirmed that there is no water damage. They kept putting us off and they did not want to fix this floor no matter what. They were professional when they spoke to us but they are not keeping up their end of the bargain, which is not professional at all.

Very unprofessional with no attention to detail. The owner of the company, Frank, who boasts about his 25+ years of experience, provided the estimate and scheduled the installation - it's too bad that he is not present when the installations are performed because his crew obviously does not have the same amount of experience. The following paragraphs outline the issues that we had with the performance of this job. The owner failed to tell us that his crew would not do anything to protect our home from the massive amount of dust that they would create. We had to bring in help to clean the mess and spent a week vacuuming and washing every surface of our home. It was so bad that it looked like footprints in the snow when our daughter walked across the living room rug. At least we were prepared the second time and sealed off the rooms with plastic sheeting - yes, they had to tear out and replace the floor that they installed (see below). The installation crew did not follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the installation of the floor. This caused the floor to have hundreds of bubbles and waves in the flooring. Some of which were caused by debris that was not cleaned up before they rolled out the new flooring. Frank spent a month trying to convince us that it would settle and get better. He finally agreed that the floor needed to be replaced. The second tear out and installation was better, but only to the point that we are not yet sure if it is worth the aggravation to deal with another assault on our home from their installation crew. The crew simply failed to pay attention to the small details that are required for this type of job. They made no efforts to protect our home or cabinets, thus, we have several gauges, scratches and scuffs in our cabinets and stained wood trim. They were so sloppy that they even installed our heating vent covers with large pieces of wood still in the ducts. They even managed to cut wires inside our walls for the alarm system. In summary, this company does not know how to install vinyl. They may be good at installing carpet, but carpet leaves a lot of room for error. Vinyl requires a craftsman's touch.

This company installed the prior flooring in this area with no problems. Their work this time was disappointing. Most of the floor looked fine, but they had problems with the 1/4 round in the bathroom. When I arrived home, I found they had tried to make some of the 1/4 round look OK by using lots of caulk and had replaced part of the 1/4 round with a different size & shape 1/4 round. As we had a party planned for the weekend, I immediately pulled up and replaced all the 1/4 round, but the job was made much more difficult by all the caulk that had to be removed. There was also a small bubble by the front door that I called them to fix. The evening they were to come, I called the store because I needed to go out and wanted to know when they'd be there. I was told it would be a couple hours. I went out and when I arrived home an hour later, there was a voice message that they had already come and left since we weren't there. I heard nothing more from them.

It was terrible! The quality of the workmanship and the product was poor and very oversold. The sales person was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. The installers used adhesive to put the floor down and tracked it on the deck and stained it. I asked them if they knew how to get it off and he told me I would have to sand it off. My main complaint is that they told us the product was durable, but within a few months we started noticing some flaking on the finish of the tiles. They replaced one tile and said they would send the flaking tile to the manufacturer to see what was wrong and that they'd call back with the results, but never did. They finally sent the owner who was rude and very uninterested. His resolution was that he was going to call the salesman to look at it. They came and said it was not going to be covered under warranty. The also said that the flaking could have been caused by silver wear could have been dropped on it. The name of the product is Duran-ceramic.

We went to the Floors For You store in Brownsburg to see what they had in vinyl flooring. They showed us our options and left us to shop undisturbed, checking once or twice to see if we were doing okay. We found what we wanted on sale and scheduled them to come out for an estimate. Since the house is currently empty, they took a note to call us beforehand so that we could meet them there. The man doing the estimate didn't see the note, didn't call ahead of time and we had to run over there after he had already arrived. Fortunately, we were expecting him and live just 10 minutes from the house, so it was not a big deal. He took the measurements and wrote out an estimate on the spot. No waiting. The lowest bid of four was about half what they bid, but we didn't have confidence in the lowest bidder. We went with Floors For You because they were the next-to-lowest bidder and other family members had previously used them with satisfactory results. We had to pay half down and half upon completion. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. We couldn't stay with them at the entire time, but since the house was vacant we felt okay leaving them there alone. About halfway into the job, we got a call from the store explaining that there were two layers of flooring in the kitchen to be removed and that could be a problem. I explained that the estimator knew there were two floors and that the plan was to remove only the top layer and leave the other in place, blending the edge so it wouldn't show. They checked it out and agreed I was right and agreed to continue as planned. In the end, they removed both layers of vinyl at not additional cost to me. All work was completed with only minor scuffs and scrapes to surrounding walls.
