Chapman Custom Baths

We had our shower completely remodeled back in July 2020 and it still looks and works great! Starting with a personal touch, every project seemed like a new beginning for the Chapman Custom Baths team. Given the patience and the genuine curiosity they provided to our project needs, it was very hard to believe that we were not their only customer at the time but, once the plans were drawn up and the materials were purchased, we knew how they could make each customer feel so special. Jon and his crew moved very fast and efficiently to give us a brand new shower in less than three days! They did an amazing job that to this day, we have no problems with any leaks nor breaks. I wanted to give it a full year before posting this review and I can tell you right now that you can go no wrong with hiring the Chapman team. Thank you guys!

Very happy with the new shower! Most of our contact was with John (the Owner) and Mike (who did a lot of the work) and they were both great. They were very friendly, respectful of our home and they genuinely seemed to care about the quality of the finished work. The project took a little longer than John had originally told us to expect, but it was due to difficulties with the supplier he uses (Onyx) and not because of anything within his control. The first difficulty was with our bench seat, the solid surface material sent by the supplier had a notch in the wrong spot. Mike told us they could make it work, but there was a potential for moisture collection behind the shower so we elected to wait for a new solid surface piece to be shipped. When the replacement piece arrived, it had unfortunately been cracked during shipping, so yet another piece was shipped. The second difficulty was with the glass shower surround. After the glass was unpacked and they began installation, Mike noticed several small chips / cracks along the edges in several different spots. He identified for us the problem areas and explained it would be necessary to have Onyx replace those glass pieces as well. I am not sure I would have noticed the problems if he hadn’t pointed them out, so I really appreciated his concern for both our satisfaction and the quality standards this company has in place. They did a wonderful job in communicating with us all along the way and John apologized several times for the difficulties and the delays. In the end, it took probably three weeks longer than what we were expecting for the shower to be finished, but the end results are spectacular! The only minor negative thing that I would identify relates to the drywall they replaced in the old shower area. One of the seams where the old drywall meets the new drywall is not exactly flat and there is a little bit of a ridge where it is uneven, but it isn’t really noticeable unless you look for it so it is not a big deal. I would highly recommend Chapman Custom Baths!

All-in-all, a great experience! Jon Chapman was great to deal with. No big come-ons, reasonable prices, excellent product, professional installation. Jon is very straight forward. He just laid it out for us: Here is my product, here is what we will do, here is how much it will cost. Others that we talked to had flashy sales pitches with inflated prices that they would give big "discounts" on, etc. With Jon, he gives you the bottom line to start with, and we found that to be the best deal. Not cheap, but we felt it was the most bang for the buck.

Jon is very easy to talk and work with. We got exactly what we wanted an onyx shower pan and a seamless glass door. Very satisfied with the entire project. Jon and his workers Gary and Greg paid attention to detail. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Everything went as planned and they were very accommodating with scheduling and appointments for my folks to pick the items as I was relocating my parent's to Indy area from Illinois. Prompt. Professional. and finished on time even after having to special order some shower doors that my mom was very insistent about ...ha and other items too.  Jon came by after project complete to make sure all was fine and check everything out.  Also called my home a year after completion to make sure all was still good!  Now that's what I call service!

Jon Chapman was terrific to deal with,  I have made two orders from his company, and plan on a third.   The first order was the shower and the sink base for the downstairs bathroom, that Jon helped me design.   Due to issues with the construction of my house, I had to make a second order to finish the shower, and take it all the way to the ceiling.  Jon was very helpful in laying out the material that I would need to order to make the shower look as wonderful as it does.   I did do the labor myself, but they also will install the product for you.   This is not a job for a novice do-it-yourselfer.   I have seen several of Chapman Custom Bath's installs and they are all excellent.   I would highly recommend this company, so highly that my father is preparing to order from Jon very soon, and I am going to redo my upstairs bathroom as well.   Everyone that comes into our house, compliments the product, and how expensive and luxurious it looks.   The pricing for such a nice product is very reasonable.    Again I can not recommended this company and the Onyx line of products more highly.

Everything went fine. They had it done in 3 days & cleaned up every day. Jon Chapman & his crew were all very professional, friendly & answered all my question. I would definitely use them again & recommend them highly.
