First let me say that I am one that rarely leaves written reviews. However, the good folks at Busenbark have most certainly earned a review from me. In this regard, I do apologize to Busenbark for being so late in this posting. Busenbark met and exceeded the five important pieces of the criteria I have for what I consider a good business relationship. • The company effectively communicates. When you call you able to speak with a real person. If you are promised a call back, it occurs, and it occurs in a timely fashion? • Staff is friendly and helpful. • The company always attempted to provide services at a time most convenient to me the customer. • Verbal terms are honored. That is when you speak with someone and you agree to a set of terms about a sale, those terms are both remembered and honored, and most importantly, remembered and honored without prompting. This is extremely important as it demonstrates a commitment to what stated in a conversation. Last, and certainly most important. Even after having met the four pieces of criteria above, I have found that the true character of a company can only be accessed when there are challenges in a transaction. In my particular case, it was a mower setup issue, followed by a change in the mower selection. Effectively addressing these challenges required reworking paperwork, the pickup and delivery of mowers, and spending time answering questions to my satisfaction about the new mower. Through it all Busenbark maintained its focus on the customer and endeavored to make things right for me, the customer first. This is a rare old school ethos that is very seldom found in today’s business environment. By this measure, I have found Busenbark to be in my opinion worthy of an A. They proved to be ethical, customer-centric, and courteous. I would never hesitate to do business with Busenbark Lawn Equipment.

Great! Busenbark Lawn Equipment - Honest, Clean, Fair Recently, I took in my lawnmower for not starting. When I talked with Josh, he said the mower started fine, and he showed me HOW to start it correctly. It started right up. I had not primed it correctly and had not used it for several weeks, so it was not getting enough gas. I appreciate that Josh, Steve, and Reed (and Owners Bob and Kyle Busenbark) are honest and fair with their customers. They have always been upfront and fair with any charges. Back 2 years ago, they replaced a bad engine with a better one. This past year I needed a new carburetor. They do not nickel and dime you-- if they see something, they say something and correct it. They charge for the repair work they do—but if everything is OK, they let you know that as well. They are really good at letting you know what is going on with your mower. My thanks to Kyle and Bob, who run a clean, efficient, but caring repair shop. They truly are honest and show that integrity with their customers. I highly recommend them for any lawn equipment repair. They repair all types of lawn equipment. They are located at 1630B South Green Street in Brownsburg. Their phone is 317-852-0770.

After the annual PM, I found both mowers nonfunctioning. The first time that I used mower 1, the cut was badly uneven. Mower 1 was sent back for re-repair, but they could not tell me when it would be fixed. In the meantime, I found the main belt disengaged on mower 2. Busenbark told me that I would have to wait for mower 1 to be repaired before they could look at mower 2; and they had no idea when this would be. Because of this, I had to hire a landscaper to cut my grass. Several days later, with no indication of a return date, I hired another contractor to correct the belt issue on mower 2. A week or two later, mover 2 was returned. However, the deck was still completely uneven as though nothing had been done! I called the other contractor, who found the deck detached and corrected the problem. I had several discussions with Busenbark and even sent the invoices showing that I had repairs done by another party, but they continued to insist that both mowers were properly functioning after the PM. In summary, both mowers we found no operational before the first use. This was not corrected after the second repair. A second contractor had to be hired to correct problems on both mowers and I had to hire a lawn service while the mowers were nonfunctional.

Honest and fair, plain and simple! Excellent service. We are also having them look at a separate riding lanw mower that we use for rental properties. Overall, a great experience.

They have been really good to me. They are just good people but they are so busy right now so they cannot pick up my stuff. They are just great. Their price is really reasonable. They are really nice, down home type friendly and they do what they said they would do. It's really frustrating because they are now far behind because they are very busy but if I needed things, they would move up. I would use them forever.

Overalll decent experience. Good selections on quality equipment, cant find this level of equipment at Hardware stores. A little pricey though.

They worked on it because it was leaking gas so I had to park it outside. I paid to have it overhauled and it still leaked. If you are saying that you can do that, then you better do it! I?m not going back there anymore. They never did fix it even though I took it in three or four times. They aren?t getting another chance because my snow blower still leaks. They even kept it over night to see if it would leak and it didn?t, but it did once I got it home.

Slow, Slow, Slow! It took many phone calls on my part to get status updates.

My wife dropped off the mower to them, and had them call me to get the list of things to do. They said they would have an estimate in a few days, but never called. I had to call them several days in a row, and each time it took them awhile to find which mower it was (I had to describe the mower instead of just giving a name). Eventually they came back with an estimate that seemed reasonable, and after some debate, we decided to have the work done. Though we were warned that it would take a while to get the parts, they never called to give status updates. We had to call them repeatedly to find out what was going on and where we stood. When the work was eventually done, the mower seemed properly repaired. However, a couple of months after we got it back, it started having the same fuel-flow problem that we had complained about.

WOW!!! I could not be anymore pleased. They took good care of me; both weed eaters run like new! The owner bob was very nice and answered a lot of questions I had on my other lawn equipment. He also gave me some info and prices for a newer lawn tractor that was reasonable over all you could not ask for better service they have earned a customer for life.

They gave accurate estimates and were reasonably priced for the work they did. I would warn any potential customer that they seem very disorganized and you have to stay on top of them to make sure that they pick the mower up when they say they will and then call to check occassionaly about when the mower will be ready. One time I called them to service the mower and they were supposed to call me back for a pickup time at my house and they never called.

Dropped off mower in early September. Was told it would be $240 to repair - blade deck, blade needed to be repaired and leveled. Finally received mower back near the end of October but they delivered it for free and only charged us $140.

WE PURCHASED AND HAD DELIVERED A NEW LAWN TRACTOR. IT PROVED TO BE UNACCEPTABLE VERY QUICKLY, AND WE ASKED THAT THE COMPANY RETURN OUR ORIGINAL MOWER (WHICH THEY TOOK IN TRADE) AND CANCEL THE SALE. THEY DID THIS, BUT CHARGED US $100 FOR PICKUP AND DELIVERY OF OUR ORIGINAL MACHINE, AND ORIGINALLY HAD WANTED TO CHARGE US $200.
