I've been taking my car to Bill Estes for about 5 years. I have a 2008 Ford Edge and they've always been prompt and courteous. My husband also brings his car to this location for oil changes. They seem to be fair and honest and always try to work with me to get my service done in a timely manner since I'm on a tight time schedule.

We have only the best things to say about them. Our service adviser's name is Dennis and that's why we're so happy. They wrangled with the warranty company to get it covered. It was in the area of a $200 repair but our cost was probably under $10. They're perfect. Dennis is absolutely gold.

During the wait in the waiting room, they have daytime TV and I have a problem with that. They also have a coffee machine and magazines.

We are in there for about 10 to 12 times a year. Because it was a warranty, it really cost us nothing. We had to pay $6 for the warranty company. The actual cost of the repair was about $1200. The staff and the workers were an “A.” The waiting room is great. They got a cake out machine, energy bars and TV. The waiting room is absolutely the best.

The price was reasonable. They are very clean and they do a very good job. I always know that it will be done correctly. They are kind of a preferred provider in a way. They have done standard car things such as the transmission. Anytime anything goes wrong, we go to them.

I appreciate that they're the only major dealership in Brownsburg. They seem to do good work on my vehicles. My biggest complaint is the timeliness. Oil changes are a necessary evil in our lives. Bill Estes Ford wants, no requires, you to make an appointment. So, why do I need an appointment at say 10:30, when I then end up sitting here until noon or after? An hour and a half oil change that was a scheduled appointment? My time is also valuable. It's not convenient to drop it off and leave as I obviously need my car. An oil change shouldn't take so long and definitely not when you asked me to make an appointment. My car was taken to the shop quickly after arriving on time for my appointment, so what's really happening during all that time my car is gone? They need either more oil change stations as part of their yet again renovation or they need to better schedule their appointments in line with the amount of time it will take their techs to complete the job. Seems simple to me.

Great price and very quick service. Kind of a far drive from my home and not near my office. If I were in Brownsburg again and needed another oil change I would definitely revisit.

My experience at Bill Estes Ford was one of the best I've had. The sales people are non-predatory, no hair gel in sight, a great selection of vehicles, and no BS. The dealership is clean and doesn't make you wonder if they're charging too much - in other words, no fancy waterfalls, no furniture nicer than that in your own home, no $4000 coffee/espresso machine.
I was actually on my way to another Ford dealer to look at a Ford Transit Connect for my business. I passed by Bill Estes on the way, and saw their extensive inventory, including an entire row of the vehicle I was looking for. So I stopped in. No one bothered me while I looked outside. When I walked toward the door, however, two sales guys came out to meet me. I told them I was looking for a Transit Connect for my business, and they directed me to the commercial sales guy (Shane), who was great.
Shane answered my questions, didn't waste my time, and gave me a solid, no-haggle price. All in all, it was the best new car buying experience I've had so far.

Bill Estes has always been very fair and helpful toward me. However, I feel their prices are a bit high. I have an on going relationship with them. Their quality of service has been very good, and they are punctual getting my car in and out. I plan to continue using them in the future.

Overall, it went well. The service consultant was courteous, offered alternative actions to identify the cause of the problem and keep the cost down. He indicated that the problem appeared to be the differential but could be the tires. The tires did need replacing. The dealer matched the lowest price I got. I decided to go with the dealer to keep the service under one roof since the ultimate objective was to get rid of the vibration and chattering. As indicated above, the new tires reduced the vibration and chatter but didn't eleiminate it. When that didn't work he gave me a range of costs from repairing the differential to replacing it. They were able to repair it which substantially reduced the cost from replacing the differential. The vibration and chatter have been eliminated.

It doesn’t seem like they know what they are doing. I brought my car in for an oil change and when I picked it up, the oil level was so low it was not been registering on the dipstick and I could actually hear the engine clicking because there was no enough oil in the engine. It also takes about twice as long for the work to get done. I will not be going to them in the future.

They kept trying to sell him extra services. They said our battery needs to be replaced. He called me at work and I told him that I would buy one and install it myself. When he came home I found out that they told him he needed to have the tires rotated. We have free rotation at the place that I purchased the tires and I'm not even sure that it is time to have the tires rotated. My son had told them to go ahead and do it, which made me really unhappy because I paid for a tire rotation that I didn't need. There is a $10 rebate I can send in on the oil change. We go there because they offer a $19.90 oil change and it is convenient but they kept pushing things. They promised it would take 40 minutes and it took 1 1/2 hours.
