He went above and beyond on our remodel. I completely trusted him going in and out of my home. He had access to our home when we were not there.

Mike performed all of the work himself; addressed all of the issues that needed fixed, including some that were not in the original plan. Very experienced and friendly; suggested ways to help us work within our budget. Did the work in a timely manner and the finished product was just what l wanted.

I was in need of a contractor to finish the framing before winter set in. All of the (really) local contractors were busy and I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find someone to complete the work before winter. I found Mike's name on Angie's List and gave him a call. He was available in the time frame I needed and sounded completely knowledgable over the phone so I decided to go with him. I ordered the crawl space to be dug and met with Mike to go over the details. As soon as the crawl space had been completed, Mike was there and got to work. I was a little hesitant at first because he works mostly by himself and I wasn't too sure about his capacity to frame out a 24 x 10 ft. space (including a vaulted ceiling) on his own. To my surprise, he did all the framing himself and it turned out beautifully. I periodically checked level and measurements and everything was right on. He worked from a building print that I had generated by a local designer but added considerable input on final dimensions. He suggested changes and even caught one mistake in a window size and position that would have cost me dearly in the inspection had he not caught it. He was totally responsive throughout the entire process and went well beyond his responsibilities as a carpenter. If I need additional help finishing the project I would be completely comfortable using him further. He worked on a totally reasonable per diem basis and ordered all the lumber himself without any additional markup. He is totally equipped with quality tools and even provided a refuse trailer to dispose of demolition materials.

Extremely well. Mr. Bisher is well-versed in all aspects of remodeling, light electrical and construction, and took the extra time to make sure the job was planned well from the beginning. He finished when he said he would, and everything is looking great. He cleaned up after himself every evening, is a non-smoker, and has great attention to detail and does not hesitate to recommend a better way to do things or make them better looking. As we speak, he is caulking some tiny cracks around the ceiling that you have to look twice to see from the floor.
