Fall is a very busy time for trimming trees, and unfortunately we were further delayed with an equipment problem that caused our Spiderlift to be down for over 3 weeks, and since that was the major piece of equipment we were to use on your job and many others, it put us behind. We got estimates from five companies and AE?s price was # four starting from the highest to the lowest. The lowest price really was too low to consider since the written estimate was not detailed at all. American Eagle Tree Service?s estimate was fully complete and they stuck with the price quoted. We asked for some extra dirt to replace the stumps and they finished that the next day, at a fair price.
Finding that American Eagle Tree Service was on Angies?s List with many, many great comments, sealed the deal for us. If you use them, you won?t be disappointed.

"Member, In response to your post, we appreciate the fact that you called us to request services for the limbs/ misc debris piles clean up. When the price was verbally quoted to you over the phone Charlie's understanding was that you "did authorize" the work to be done for $200 and wanted it done immediately. I tend to believe that what Charlie actually said and what you thought he said over the phone was misunderstood. Please accept our apology for any misunderstanding of the verbal price quoted. It is never our intention to mislead any of our customers, this is a good example of why 99% of the time we "insist" on providing our customers with a "written" estimate prior to any requested service is completed. Unfortunately, in this case, one was not provided to you prior because you indicated over the phone you would like to have this work done asap. Because it was a small job we sent a clean up crew out right away to take care of this for you. We are not saying that you were wrong in what you heard the price quoted was, because it could have been easily misunderstood over the phone. Knowing each party assumed that he was correct in what they believed was actually stated, there are no hard feelings regarding this unfortunate incident, we always strive to do the best work for the most reasonable price we can, and we do value all of our customers.
