SCAM Artists. I can't explain how terrible this experience was. Not only did Ben severely overcharge us, he yelled at my wife in our home when she questioned the bill. He tried to charge for more time than he was there, tried to up sell her on everything, and charged us $100/hour to drive across town to get a part that he knew he needed in advance of the job but didn't bring with him. It took him over an hour to go 5 miles and then lied about the time it took to complete the job. A grown man yelling at a customer simply because she wanted to understand the bill. The work was good quality.  The plumber was professional, seemed to know what he was doing, and worked at a good pace.  However, I felt somewhat taken advantage of and misled.
I called and talked to the receptionist.  She relayed the message to the plumbers who stopped by as they said they were in the area.  The guys gave an estimate on how much It would cost to put in a shower surround and said they could start right away.  We told them great and they came back a couple days later.
The estimate was $1,500 but based upon an hourly rate of $100.  To save some money, we did as much prep work as we could.  When the plumber came back a couple of days later, he arrived at 8:30am and left at 5pm.  So, I expected the bill to be for 8.5 hours plus material cost.  I was charged about $1,200.  The charges included 1 hour for the day they stopped by for an estimate.  It also included ½ for prep time before the plumber arrived.  Additionally, I was charge $65 for a service charge that they described as for wear and tear on the vehicle.  We challenged the fairness and the response was that it was their policy.
So, they do good quality work but you need to clear on how you are going to be charged to avoid surprises.

I wasn't there. It was for a rental property. I think the price is pretty standard.

Prompt, courteous, kept in contact with cell phone so that there was minimal interference with my workday, clean person, cleaned up so well following job that I couldn't find anything that I needed to clean up.  Friendly, explained everything, stayed within the bid budget, very detailed job invoice.  When the plumber explained what he proposed to do to fix a drainage problem, I brought in a "heavy" (former collection agency man) to be pushy and challenge the plumber's advice.  The plumber handled this well, explaining each and every proposed step and his reasoning...fun to watch the interaction.  I am a disabled senior citizen who has always lived in old houses that need some repair work; this plumber is the best I've seen.

He was punctual, polite, and did the job.

I called them up. A human answered and then answered my questions. The guy showed up when he said he would. Fixed the stuff and left. Unfortunately had to go back for a part but it was an unusual one...at least they had it at the shop.
They have a $65 trip charge and I was having them come mostly for the gas leak and figured since they were here, he could fix the other things too. So $140 in labor (80 per hour), 22 in materials.

The plumber came on time. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and did the work very well. He also offered a lot of suggestions and answered my questions. The plumber has been working for the company for almost 20 years and that says a lot about reliability. I will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.

Fine. It seemed a little expensive--but then we have never had any plumbing work done before. Lucky!

I have really valued their service over the years. The pirce was reasonable. Over the years they have done a lot of great work for us They are always cheerful, competent, and professional.

They get the job done. I would recommend them.

I hired Weddle Plumbing based on Angies List feedback. I needed a shop sink, washer, and water softner hooked up in my shop. All of this work was side by side and the plumbing was exposed so they did not have to remove drywall or do anything to intense for this project. I allowed the contractor to drive his van into the shop so that he could have all of his tools right next to him. Either way, he managed to turn this job into an all day job and he left to and quot;take care of other customers (Olive Garden)and quot; for about 2 hours. The whole job seemed discombobulated and disorganized.

Needles to say, the plumber explained after starting the job that he was unfamiliar with water softners and could only hook it up to a single source (ok). The plumbing was completed and seems to work fine.

Their hourly rate is 80.00 per hour which is standard for work like this; however, they also charged me a 65.00 trip charge to drive less than 10 miles (if I could pick up my shop and bring it to them I would). I guess they dont understand they are in a mobile service business......thats the whole point have a service company, thats the whole point of charging 80.00 per man hour (to cover all your costs). They also charged me 107.16 for a $30 part. Now, I understand that there is restocking, re-ordering, and accounting upcharges on everything......but come on, a $77 upcharge on a single part! Thats outrageous! If your going to get over on me......please dont do it on trip charges, parts, and labor. Pick one and get over on me some but to do it on everything is ridiculous. Either way, I called the office to get an understanding of the grossly overpriced work that was completed and the lady did not have an answer nor did she even try to defend the companies negligence. I paid the bill in full; however, I will never use Weddle Plumbing again.

It is companies like this that gave me a reason to start my business. Values, virtues, and honesty clearly do not play a role with Weddle plumbing. Their pricing is inconsistant ( I asked around) and their knowledge base is a little shaky. I also question their integrity.

On the last completed job the work involved the replacement of a kitchen sink and waste disposer involving the disconnecting of hot and cold supply lines to the sink and drain lines for the sink and the dishwasher. Two trips were required to make the disconnection, await the installation of the new sink, and then Weddle's part of what was a general remodelling of the entire kitchen, including replacement of appliances, was in reconnecting all water supply lines and drain lines for kitchen faucet, waste disposer and dish washer. I took the advice of my plumber, purchased a particular brand of waster disposer that he recommended, and was amazed at how quietly it operated after the installation.

They have always been courteous and done a good job for us.

Everything was good. They showed up on time. They fixed everything. They had all the parts they needed so they didn't have to order any parts. Everything works. We would hire them again.

They were very thorough and very helpful. The repair turned out to be quite simple. They were fine and I would recommend them to anyone else. The price was reasonable and fair considering there is a call out charge upfront; it wasn't exorbitant. They were very good and helpful; we got what we paid for. We were happy with the quality of the work. They responded immediately and they came right on the spot. We would definitely use them again.

The The man who did the service seemed fairly knowledgeable, did a nice job and was very nice and polite. I asked lots of questions and he seemed perfectly happy to explain what he was doing or what needed to be done. He also took time to explain how to flush the the water heater for regular service. They looked over the old water heater and explained why it wasn't working and took it away. They were clean and didn't leave any mess behind after their work.

I called a friend about suggesting a plumber. They recommended Weddle. I joined Angies List and decided to use Weddle. A few weeks later I had another plumber in and he hinted I may have paid a little too much for replacing the toilet. The work was quality and the gentlemen who performed the workd was on time and did an excellent job.
