People should do criminal checks when they hire people they don't know. His truck broke down and while I was in Texas, we loaned him our farm truck to use for a few days, but it turned into 2 weeks. We got the truck back before the work ended. The work actually was never finished, due to legal issues. He was paid in advance and we still don't have the work done.
