I had extremely slow running drains in the kitchen and bathroom sinks. When I plunged the kitchen sink, black water came up into the bathroom sink. I put drain opener gel into the kitchen and bathroom sink drains. This helped a little but all the drains were still extremely slow. My usual handyman service said to call Roto Rooter. The Roto Rooter plumber first used their machine to clear the main sewer pipe from the outside access point. This didn't fix the problem. Then he used some other equipment through the kitchen sink. This still didn't solve the problem. He determined the clog was in the plumbing vent. This was at the end of the day and he scheduled me again for the next morning. The next morning he went up on the roof and cleared the vent through the vent outlet in the roof. The drains all run fine now. He spent 4 hours on the job and the price was $245. They charge a flat rate for the job regardless of how long it takes. Considering the time involved and the difficulty of the job this was reasonable, however, if you have a quick job this would be a high price. The company was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They called my office to let me know when the plumber was on the way so that I didn't have to wait at home for hours. The plumber who came to my house really knew his business. He explained everything to me and also gave me tips on how to avoid the problem in the future. One thing I would do differently next time is to remove all the things from under my sink(s) myself. The plumber removed everything from under my sinks and then put it back. It was a mess. Everything he touched was smeared with black. I had to take everything outside and scrub it all, let it dry and then replace it. It would have been far easier if I had moved the stuff out myself and told him to leave it.

This was the second time and was covered under the six month guarantee. Friendly staff, efficient and effective. You get very quick service and they are very friendly guys. They are very thorough and explain things really well.

Called them in the morning and she said they would be out late afternoon. Called around 3PM to let me know it would be a little after 5P before they could get here. Showed up just after 5P. I explained that drains were slow and heard gurgling from second bath toilet when water draining from master bath. They opened septic access and saw toilet paper had caught on baffle and backed up into drain pipe. Cleaned that out and said that baffle was broken and was cause of problem. He suggested that when we next had our septic tank pumped out that we have the baffle either replaced or removed (said that one was not really necessary. Not sure I agree with that.) Had us fill the master tub and then drain it. Everything running fine. He apologized that the bill was so much for such a minor fix, but said it was a fixed minimum charge for anything. We asked about having an outside faucet installed in the future and he gave us a round about price range (which is all we wanted.) He said he would tell his office we might do the faucet in the future, No regrets. Really nice guy. Took care of problem promptly.

I've been using them for thirty years. They were fast and professional. I give them all A's. I would tell anyone to call them first. I was really happy with them. I will continue to use their services in the future.

It went great. The pricing was very reasonable. As far as I know we explained everything to the rental and then later talked to them. It was the first time we have used them on a mobile home. We were looking for a mobile home in many places and Roto-Rooter was very happy to do it. They said they do it all the time and I said okay. I would rate them highly. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

They are great. We have been here in this new house for about 10 months but they came out to our older house about four times.

Excellent. Johnny arrived from Bloomington and was extremely pleasant from the minute he walked in. I have been trying to do things myself since my husband passed away so I was continually asking questions. He didn't mind a bit. When I was asking questions, he was explaining what he was doing or was going to do. I truly dreaded calling a plumber and went for a over a year with only cold water in my bathroom sink and hot water in the kitchen. Finally my bathroom sink wouldn't drain at all after numerous times of using Drano and Mr. Plumber. So, I gave up and called Roto-Rooter. It was such a great experience and it's so nice to have hot and cold water in both sinks and the bathroom sink to drain. I'm extremely pleased.

They did fine. It was a mobile home and I had a lot of trouble finding someone who would work on a mobile home. It was difficult finding someone to do what I needed done. They responded within 24 hours.

They did a great job. They were prompt and efficient. They were understandable to our situation. He explained to us if we dug the whole ourselves we would save $1000. So we did and it saved us a lot of money. We really appreciated it. I think it was $75 just for the call and then they charge hourly.
