I used to be a travel agent, for many years, and one of my clients were Quality Heating & Air Conditioning. So over the years, like 40 years, I eventually called my former travel agent's line back that sells in Quality Heating & Air Conditioning. And said  I need a wall furnace. You need to help with my down stairs wall furnace, it's not working. So he came out, he came out and walked. He came outside, it was many hours, many days off of work, many dollars, he got my new wall furnace that, like it is like really ugly, not at all what I expected. And his guy like charged me like $400.00 for trying to fix the gas problem existing. And it didn't happen, so I still don't have a working wall furnace down stairs. So I said ok, I want to buy a new one then. Help me pick out like what would fit and what is appropriate and all that,with your expertise. He was like ok, I'm contacting the company that sells the heaters and find out. Months go by, you know it's hot outside, I am not worried about my heater. So a couple of weeks ago I contacted him and said so how is this coming, and he was like ya know we really just don't do wall heaters. He was like your's is the only one we have installed in like 20 years. We really just don't want to deal with it. I was like well how sad, but ok. I asked him if he knew anyone around here that would do that, and he wrote back and said I'm sorry I don't know anyone. After all that, months and months.

I feel like they do try to please their customer. I felt like they were reasonable.

I'm very unsatisfied. They were also dishonest when they sold me the new unit about the brand availability. They didn't do a good job on the install, and the tech that did the install wasn't very knowledgeable. I had to get them back twice to fix the problems: they never programmed by thermostat and didn't turn my furnace on. They also screwed up my ceiling because the pipe they ran was not sealed. They fixed the ceiling but I wouldn’t hire them again.

They've done a great job with our maintanence and we got a discount for having used them all these years. They did not push the upgrade on us, which I appreciated. At first, we said no but after talking to my brother who's in heating and air, we decided to go ahead and do it. They even talked to my brother to make sure we needed it. Everything was top-notch. They asked for a little extra time to get started which was fine, but they assured us if we went down to let them know and they'd be out right away. It's working beautifly.

They are very highly ranked in this area and they have a very good reputation. They did a very good job but I had a major complaint and I called and reported it and then they sent me some paperwork. I filled it out and they never at any time responded and that bothered me. There were just no response and they totally ignored it and I was not a happy camper. I called them because I wanted someone to go under the house and check the heating vent because I thought a couple of them were not working. So when they came out, they said they will do that but they will check the furnace first and they did and they told me there was some problem with the furnace. They were honest and they told me that they can fix it and how much it will cost to put a new one in. I made arrangements and they came out and they did a good job when they put it in. When they were getting ready to leave, I told them that I originally called them because I want to make sure that all the vents are taken care of under the house. They said they were down there and everything is fine and everything is working. So on their way out, I ran over and checked and there was a vent that there was no air coming out. So I ran out and got them before they ever left. They came back and I said that they lied to me and there’s no air coming in there. They said sorry and they went under and they took care of it and they came back. Like 2 weeks after that, I had a guy here doing some plumbing work for me and he went under the house and he said it’s about 200 degrees under there and there were 2 others that were loose and it come off and they just ignored them. They haven’t fixed it at all so I was not very happy about that. I called them to tell them that I was not happy. A supervisor was supposed to call me back but there was nothing. They did not respond in any way which I thought was pretty bad. They were here on time.

They were polite, quick, efficient and thorough.

All aspects of the contacts and service provided by Quality were excellent.  The service tech was friendly, professional and helpful in explaining the state of the furnace, work done and suggestions regarding options available on the original Aprilaire Humidfier that is part of the furnace air flow duct work.

I had a 2 hour window to wait, Jeff showed up after a quick phone call to make sure i would be there.  He was friendly, courteous, and gave great explanations and I fully enjoyed his visit.  He was done in less than an hour.

The company representative made a careful inspection of the house and its heating/cooling system, followed by detailed recommendations for two alternative systems designed to improve efficiency and reduce the energy footprint.  We chose to keep our present gas heater in place, and replace the air conditioner with a heat pump (rather than a new air conditoner).  The bid was slightly lower than the one competitive bid we obtained.  In addition, the company we selected happens to be the one dealer in the area that handles the equipment with the best repair record as indicated by Consumer Reports.  When we accepted the bid the company representative immediately scheduled a suitable installation date, and adhered strictly to schedule.  The equipment works perfectly.

Overall an excellent experience.  The process begin Sept12 with a thorough cost estimate with multiple options.  When we decided what option we wanted, we arranged the installation.  We got a discount on labor for waiting until the  "slow season". The installation begin within 2 weeks of the confirmation.  Since it was a complex job, installation took 2 weeks.  The technicians were customer oriented, punctual and professional.  I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Late at night, I noticed a bad smell coming from the vent, especially in the rooms closest to the furnace.  (It was similar to that odor you get the first time the furnace runs for the season.)  During the night, the temperature dropped to 63 and the furnace would start to heat up but would shut off instead of blow heated air.  I called Quality at 9 in the morning and she said she would have a technician there in the afternoon.  He called around noon and was there by 1.  The blower motor had gone out and he was able to get the part and make the repair by 3 pm.  He thoroughly cleaned up afterwards and was friendly and professional throughout the process.  

Scott met with me before they had the business and went over several options.  I was very impressed with what he presented and they followed through.  I received several comments from other sub-contractors about how great the HVAC rough in looked.  We are nearly finished with the house now and the furnace is running great.

Owner Scott assesssed this self contracted new home in depth. He discussed my planned methods for insulating and air sealing, and actually suggested improvements that enabled us to size the system more accurately. He picked up details that other contractors missed, even to the point of improving the drainage of the geothermal gound loop.

The experience was great.

Very prompt. Checked everything. Cleanded and when finished let us know every was working well.

All of the personnel were pleasant to work with. The job was done on schedule with efficiency and good follow-up.

They installed the system in one day and made sure we understood the components and how to operate. They had done some work just prior to the installation that they didn't make us pay for once the new system was ordered and installed.
