They did a great job with our project. I would highly recommend them to others.

As bad as being overcharged so much was, it got much much worse. After the two chandeliers arrived, Price sent their employees out to install them. They had to take down the light fixture that was in my entry way in order to install the main chandelier there. After Price installed the main chandelier it looked terrible. Britton came out to our house and looked at it. In his opinion the problem with the chandelier was that it was improperly manufactured. He actually wrote a letter that I could send to the vendor in New York City claiming that the chandelier was improperly manufactured and he would charge an additional $920 to try and fix it. Also, when he was at our house, and before I got the $1,814 bill from Price Electric, I asked if he would install the light fixture that his employees took down from my entry way in my adjacent Great Room. Britton told me that he would charge $1500 to install that light fixture. Needless to say, I didn’t have him install that light fixture. A couple of months later, however, I asked another electrician how much he would charge to install the light fixture Price Electric took down from entry way in my Great Room. Much to my surprise, this electrician said he would do it for $400, which was over a $1,000 less than what Britton of Price Electric said he would charge. When the second electrician came out, I had him look at the main chandelier that Price Electric installed earlier. He indicated that the problem with the chandelier was not the manufacturing but the installation. In other words, what made the chandelier look so bad was that Price Electric had simply installed it wrong. This raised an interesting question about what Britton of Price Electric was doing when he looked at the chandelier and said it was improperly manufactured and he would charge $920 to fix it. One possibility is that he was aware of the poor work done by his employees and was simply seeking to get another $920 out of me. This would mean he was trying to charge me over $2700 to install the two chandeliers, which would be almost $2,000 more than my original expectation. Or he was not able to figure out that the work done by his employees was done improperly. Either interpretation shows his incompetence, which is only compounded by the fact that Price Electric has been in business for over 25 years. I must confess, however, that I find it hard to believe that Briton was not aware of the bad work done by his employees. At any rate, the new electrician charged me $500 to fix the slipshod installation done by Price Electric. When I communicated to Briton of Price Electric that I had paid $500 to have their slipshod installation work corrected by another electrician, he responded by saying that he did not feel obligated to reimburse me for the electrician I hired to fix what his employees did that was wrong. I have built 2 houses and worked on substantial remodels of 2 houses. Thus, I have contracted and paid for over 1.3 million dollars worth of work done by home contractors. I have never worked with a worse contractor than Price Electric. They gave estimates for work that was far cheaper than what they ended up charging. They blatantly overcharged for the work that they did. The work Price Electric did was unacceptably substandard. And, when they were caught red handed having done something wrong, they simply refused to even consider making it right.

Service was great!  They were running a bit behind the scheduled time but called to alert me to that fact well in advance.
After arriving just a few minutes after the agreed upon time they quickly diagnosed the problem and offered solutions that allowed me to keep the fixture in my kitchen rather than replace it.

Price electric did a great job with our project. We had an old screw in fuse type panel and an outdated wire and cable from the transformer.  Price was able to complete the job in just a few hours with little to no issue. 
Many of the other contractors we bid this out to came up with overpriced bids (by $$$$) and crazy solutions.  Price Electric worked within the narrow scope and brought our house up to current electrical code.  Their solution was the simplest, cheapest, and most effective solution. 
We would definitely do business with them again.

No problems, no hitches

Hated paying a service fee for a bad light bulb but that's life and still cheaper than buying replacements.  The guys knew the product they were working with, they were very professional and showed up on time.  I only wish they would have made the fix look a little harder!  :P  We will surely use Price Electric again.

They promised to get it done and they got it done on time. They got it done the way we needed to have it done.

There was nothing I disliked. They were pretty knowledgeable and pretty fast.

I only use Price for my electrical needs. They are definitely on time. Flood light work was quick and uneventful and has worked well. I live in a 1960's ranch and had an electrical mystery - one day certain lights & outlets stopped working. Price came out within a couple of days to investigate. They ended up sending additional men out to help look (which I was impressed with) and ended up finding a wire that had shaken loose in a wall in a location completely unrelated to the problem area. Yes, it took 4 hours and cost me 400 bucks, but they found it and fixed it - good job! Lastly, I did a major kitchen/laundry remodel and they did the electrical work for me. There was a bit of a misunderstanding about the load needed for tankless electrical water heater. I was pretty furious, but they worked with me on it and I ended up being a very satisfied customer once again. If there is one thing I've learned during this remodel is - the unexpected always crops up during a remodel. Its the good contractors who work with you on it and fix it. I will definitely use Price for my future electrical needs.
