They were out to give an estimate the same day I contacted them. They gave me a very reasonable quote that I accepted. Within four days they were here and removed the large tree. When they were finished, you could not tell there had been any work done here. They’re cleanup was excellent. They collect upon completion, and they did such a nice job then I actually paid them more than they asked. They are professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of tree work done

I initially hired Derek to cut down a very large pin oak from my front yard (located very close to my house) as well as two large sweet gum trees from my back yard (also somewhat close to the house and fence). He brought in a large chipper and a dumpster to help with the removal - otherwise he climbed the trees or the house to gain access to branches in order to get the trees down safely.
Once he began the work, I asked if he could also remove two other trees that were much smaller and dead (trees I'd originally intended to remove myself), and felt he gave me a very fair price to get those down as well.
All in all, I am pleased with the work that Derek performed. He is a younger person, with a relatively new company that he's starting up. He is polite, friendly, and does what he says he is going to do. It took a long time, however, for him to get the work done. This didn't bother me - the only deadline I'd given him was to please have the front tree down before the roofing people came to replace my roof, and he was able to meet that deadline. 
I'm not sure if another tree removal company would have been faster - perhaps they would have with additional employees and equipment - but I felt that he did good work, for a good price and I was happy to help support his growing business.
I would recommend him (with that caveat).
