A great experience, as always. We've worked with Plum Creek Cabinets since 1993 including a kitchen and bathrooms for a new build and two remodels on another house (2006 and 2012). Through the years we've also had Plum Creek build several custom stand-alone pieces, my favorite being a mission-style china cabinet that has gotten more compliments than I can count.
John Barnes (owner) is straight-forward and very helpful in walking us through our various options for any given job, including the pro and cons of various cabinet configurations, woods and finishes, counter top materials, etc. We tell him what we'd like to have and if the estimate comes in over our budget he's quite willing to work with us on ways to get the price within our range. (The estimates are always itemized so it's easy to see how much each aspect of the job will cost.)
The work is well organized (John is meticulous about taking his measurements) with lots of attention to detail. John is also a good problem-solver--we've thrown some odd layout requests at him and he always comes through with a solution.
When the scope of the project has been decided, John provides detailed plans of the proposed work so that any last-minute adjustments can be ironed out before work begins.
The finished products are beautiful and durable--MUCH better than anything you can get at a big box store and at very resonable prices.

Plum Creek gave us good advice on replacement. Came to our home and measured and consulted with us. The build took a couple of months, as I recall, but was well worth the wait for the quality and finish of the cabinet. They installed with not problems. I would definitely use them again.

John had built our kitchen cabinets in 2009. We wanted some matching "half wall" cherry bookcases for our living room. He did phenomenal work and great install. They are fantastic.
