Rich and his team made the process of designing the build and selecting the materials so easy - we had been to a couple competitors and just found them to be a lot less helpful. One thing we especially liked was that they asked for pictures of the room and diagrams of our plans so that they could get a better understanding of what we wanted. Once they came and got the formal measurements, they quoted us 4-6 weeks but installation occurred on the front end of that. Everything fit perfectly (including the sink cut-out) and the counter-tops look great. The owner even sent his crew back later that day to complete some finishing work that wasn't in the original plans we gave them.

Seams are like new. Completely flush surface now. Crew did an excellent job.
Found them to be professional, knowledgeable and friendly, explaining
what and how the repairs were to be made. Seams much superior now after old silicon
material was replaced with a high strength epoxy. Left all clean and in good
order. Rand auml;ke provided quick service quick service,

Craig at Laminated Tops was just the perfect person to work with, being very understanding of our needs, extremely fun and professional. He was always available at his shop or to drop by the house when we needed to discuss options. He paid great attention to detail and made sure we combed through all the options we had while considering looks and price. He was also very patient with us when we returned several times with changes. We liked them so much that are having them replace the countertop in the main bathroom and replace a wall cabinet and woodwork around the spa in the master bath. Would also like to point out that the installers were fantastic, fun to be around and very professional. All was done like a well oiled machine!

Well. My husband and I have been remodeling our kitchen for the last 2 1/2 months and still going. Murphy's Law: everything that could possibly go wrong, did. Cabinets, floors, walls, sink, etc. Problems with deliveries, etc. The one single thing that went right with the $10k remodel was the manufacturing and installing of the countertops today. The men who installed them were in and out in one hour with an absolutely, totally professional installation. The countertops are gorgeous and look so much better than what I ever expected. And we got three footed cutting boards in the same material as the countertops. We didn't go cheap. We didn't get the most nor least expensive product but rather something in the middle. This company is in Bloomington, IN and we live in Terre Haute, IN. If you doubt this review, we're in the phone book. Please feel free to call us. Heck, you can even come look at them. Pamela Curts

It went great from beginning to end. Showroom help was great. We saw all our options and found choices that we loved and fit into our budget. Suggestions about color and size were helpful from our showroom person. Someone from Laminated Tops came out to measure the space before we placed the order. We had some special needs regarding the location of our plumbing that required the measurements to be very accurate. They were. We waited for our cabinet to be built and our countertop to be made, but it didn't take more than a few weeks. Installers were very professional and did all the special fitting that was needed. They walked the cabinet up and down the stairs - once for fitting and once for cutting. That way the mess was in the driveway instead of all over the bedroom. More trouble for them, but speaks to their desire to leave the space nicer than they found it. They installed cabinet pulls on all the doors and drawers and did a perfect job. Nothing crooked or out of place. We love the result and can't wait to do it again in our other bathroom! If we ever have a kitchen remodel, they will be the only place we will go for cabinets and countertops.

Every experience with Rake/Laminated Tops was fantastic. We can't recommend them enough. When planning our kitchen renovation, we were frustrated because we kept seeing companies that created primarily traditional or country style kitchens. When we saw the modern/contemporary designs in Rake's brochure, we loved them. So we went to the showroom and met with Jessica, the designer and showroom manager. She was incredibly patient with our questions and was able to answer every one. We visited her and the show room several times. We did go to a couple of other places for comparison purposes, but quickly decided to go with Rake. Based on our measurements and ideas, Jessica designed our kitchen and emailed us plans in only two days. Over the next couple of weeks, she graciously made adjustments whenever we changed our minds or brought in photos for inspiration. She made the entire design process much easier than we ever imagined it would be. She was very quick to respond to calls and emails, too.
When we decided on a design, easily acquired financing through Cambria (the countertop company), and made a deposit, Jessica and Craig (who we think was the project manager) came to our house to take measurements. Craig is a true professional, yet friendly. He knew exactly what he was doing and was able to answer our installation questions. He also helped with our last minute design idea (waterfall countertops on the island). Working with him, again, made it clear that we were with the right company. Craig then coordinated with our flooring company to figure out the best timing for the projects. He also was quick to respond to calls and emails.
The cabinet installers and countertop installers were also phenomenal, professional, and detail-oriented. Our kitchen looks absolutely amazing. It has transformed our entire house. And Rake has continued to be communicative and helpful with any questions we have. This is an amazing company.
