About us

Grimes Pools has been installing premium outdoor environments since 1974 and has installed hundreds of pools in Southern Indiana. This includes inground and above ground pools, spas, landscaping and outdoor accessories. All of our projects are personally supervised from start to finish by Rich Grimes, the owner and founder of Grimes Pools. Rich is involved in all daily activities of Grimes Pools and continues to inspire all that we do. Grimes Pools is large enough to handle all of your outdoor needs, yet we never lose that personal relationship with our customers. We know that creating an outdoor environment can be a big step. From the first meeting to determine your needs, until the day you first get in your wonderful new pool or spa, we work closely with you to make your experience the best it can be. November through March Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; Sat 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.

At first went well; two people pleasantly serviced pool, efficiently. As time went on, they sent out different serviceperson. Seemed in a hurry--put pool bleach in hot tub, which took weeks for us to bring into balance. Offered to look at hot tub, which was leaking--gave contradictory advice: not worth fixing and then changed mind. All in all relationship went down hill. I don't know if I was just unlucky to hit this one serviceperson or whether it reflects a greater change and problem with company.

Rich Grimes came out and made the pool smaller - which is what I wanted. He went above and beyond during every phase of building my pool. His workers were great too. He's probably the best contractor I've ever hired. They open and close my pool each year. They have a sale on chemicals in April and they bring that over when they open my pool. They also sealed my cover this year. They were flexible with the landscape design too -- he really knows how to create backyard living!
