BEWARE! They don't even deserve the 1 STAR star. I wouldn't take my dead dog back to these people. I was supposed to be sedated and that was their claim however I absolutely was not sedated. For someone that sedates people on a daily basis it should have been abundantly clear that I was not sedated at all. If they were even trying to sedate me they should have seen that there was a problem! However, heaven forbid they take a minute or two to try and figure out the problem, that would be a waste of their time. I was trying to tell him my 3rd wisdom tooth wasnt even numb, I raised my hand and moved his hands out of my mouth and informed the oral surgeon that my third wisdom tooth was not numb however he just said "keep your hands down"and ripped it out anyway. He didn't care! He's very rough with injections, the most painful I've had, and I've been to some horrible dentists. You can tell it's set up like an assembly line and they actually don't call care about the people in the least. As soon as their done they rush you out to your car..only good thing about not having any sedation I was able to get in the car and start posting reviews all over the Internet about the horrifying ordeal, hopefully to save others from going through the same thing I endured! I find their actions disgusting! Do yourself a favor and go to the oral surgeon next to Kroger East. He took out one of my wisdom teeth and I had no problems and the staff was very nice. Or find anyone, hopefully having the time to read reviews. Best of luck to those in need of an oral surgeon.

He was wonderful. He was very professional and did an amazing job on the surgery. I had oray and it caused some issues on the jaw and one of those things with oray, it may or may not have worked for a period of time but it did work and never had any issue. I had lost 26 pounds and I could not eat for 2 month and lost a substantial amount of weight. I got my weight back after he fixed that jaw. He is one of those doctors that really cares and his bedside manner was amazing. He seemed to really listen. You do not see such doctors anymore and I really recommend him and will use him again.

When I was warned that my wisdom teeth, which I had been ignoring for years, really needed to come out, I asked my dentist to schedule something soon. This wasn't so much for fear of gum damage as not wanting to sit there dreading the procedure for months. Dr. Devitt scheduled be for about two weeks later on a Friday morning. I completed the registration and medical history online, saving a great deal of time. I arrived a few minutes early and was taken back before my scheduled time. They were quick and efficient, explaining the procedure and possible side effects, and confirming my wish for sedation. I have to admit, I can't say much about what happened from there. My next memory involved my wife leading me into the house to start my recovery.
Dr. Devitt personally called me on Saturday afternoon to check up on me, answer any questions I had and reassure me that how I was feeling was in fact, quite normal.
I'm currently four days post-op. The recovery has been slow and at times very uncomfortable, but that's the nature of the procedure, particularly when impacted teeth are involved. I could not have asked for more from Dr. Devitt or his team. I was scheduled quickly, seen on time and treated quickly. I was given all the information that I needed to make my recovery as smooth as possible and they reached out to verify that I was doing well and to let me know that I could call if I had any further concerns. With IU insurance, I thought the cost, even with IV sedation, was quite reasonable (under $500 plus generic prescriptions).
I sincerely hope never to need the services of Dr. Devitt again, but if I did find myself in need of oral surgery again, I would not hesitate to give him a call.

Dr. Devitt was very friendly and put our mind at ease. He explained about the option we had of using either local anesthesia and general anesthesia. He even told us that if my son were to be not comfortable with local he can switch it over to general.
The surgery went fine and my son was done in 40 minutes.
His staff was friendly. Everyone in the front office seemed very nice. I would definitely recommend anyone planning to get any surgery for wisdom teeth to completely put their mind to rest if you are going to Dr.Devitt.

He did a great job, very professional, personable and reassuring. My daughter did just fine with her surgery and had no complications.

He made it as good an experience as one can expect under those circumstances. I found his service to be very good. His office staff was very helpful. He was very supportive. I liked his staff. They were always very supportive, very informed and seemed to be very conscientious. His punctuality was very good.
