+ -1 moreThe overall experience was bad. It started out pretty good but as the house really got underway, the contractor was never there to check the work for the day and he was also the brick mason. He told us he would be there everyday until the house was done but would go a week or more and never show up. The quality of the company's work was very poor overall as well as the subs. I would never recommend this company nor any of their sub-contractors. They were as unreliable as the contractor himself.
Description of Work: They agreed to build our home for $282,000.00 in 2005. We got near completion and the contractor left and never came back to finish the job. He was dishonest and kept changing quotes he gave us and never watched the budget. He hired flunky sub-contractors that also did not finish the job or did very poor quality work. We ended up finishing most of the house ourselves. We had to hire someone to finish part of the work.
