If I could give City Glass of Bloomington zero stars I would. This business has gone downhill fast. New owners don’t have a clue what they are doing. They came out 3 times to measure and still cut glass wrong! Refused to complete a mirror job they accepted. Watch out Southern Indiana!!!

nice people for a nice price

Person did not look professional but showed up on time and spoke English.  I had requested pet screen and he didn't think it would fit and did not have any other screen with him.  I had screen and "wiring" needed to attach it.  He used his tool and was able to attach the screen with some effort.  I was satisfied with the overall experience.  I was charged only for the trip sand no labor or materials.

Everything went well with them. They were professional and they did a good job.

Excellent installer...special orders of glass took a little longer than expected.

Rain delayed the start, and some initial information provided proved unreliable. But once they got started, they were terrific. We hired them, since Steve had the most experience and realistically described the difficulties we were going to encounter. Steve and Tim managed difficult replacements that involved old mortar. They made sure that the windows were not out for longer than necessary -- a kind of consideration much appreciated in December. However, what most impressed me were three things:

First, they were very helpful about working with us in the case of the alum clads that needed to be painted.
Second, they were great about external finishing of the windows most of which they also did. They gave great advice on how to finish, the use of new wood frames rather than aluminum, so as to match the siding.
Third, when there were minor glitches, such as a very small scratch on one window, and a little damage to one screen, their scheduler and dispatcher -- Dee, a terrific person to work with -- arranged to get things fixed as promptly as possible.
Good job all around at a reasonable price!

City Glass scheduled an installer to come out and measure the windows within two days of the time I originally phoned. The installer was very prompt and professional. About a week or so later the glass arrived and was installed. Again the installers were very prompt, professional and considerate. They were careful removing the old glass not to break the wooden pieces that held the panes in place. They cleaned up any mess that was made while they worked. They completed the project within the timeframe they originally gave me and within the original estimated price.City Glass repaired the torn screens and built a custom screen for one window in one day. I was very pleased with the entire process and love the new windows.

The work turned out good. They were affordable and came the same day. Their cleanup was good. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Prompt service. It did not take long at all!
