I bought a circuit breaker at this store. I found out that it was the wrong breaker. I tried to return this item and they would not except it. I talked to the owner and she still would not return it. I was beyond frustrated. I went to Lowes and was able to find the same breaker for $7, when Bloomington Hardware had it listed for $29. I was a loyal customer up until this point. I would not recommend this business.

I love Bloomington Hardware. They have all the needful things for maintenance and repairs, indoors and out. My purchases there have included: varnish and wood glue; humidifier filters; nuts and bolts; topsoil, garden shears, garden edging; insecticides; weatherstripping; moving boxes; keys; cleaning supplies. There is ALWAYS someone who can help you find what you need and give advice: this is why I go to Bloomington Hardware first. Employees often ask "Can I help you find something?" if they see you looking uncertain. This is old-fashioned service of the very best sort. They are friendly and helpful to everyone, even the obviously clueless (which usually describes me). And they're right on College Mall Rd, very convenient for eastsiders.
