My first new car in almost a decade was smashed by some moron in the parking lot a month after I bought it -- and whoever did it never stopped or left a note. Oh nooooooo! Nothing ruins your day like coming out of the store to find your beautiful new car has huge dents and scratches along the side. So I made my police report and some phone calls, and then started looking for repair shops. I saw a couple of good reviews of Autoplex on the web, and they were also on my insurance company's list, so that's where I went; and a good choice it was, too. Tom handled everything with great professionalism, and was also really sympathetic about the whole situation. He ran the numbers for repair or replacement of the fender, and found that it would cost less to replace it, so that's what I chose. The repair was done timely, and was finished exactly when they said it would be; coordination with the insurance co. was smooth, so all I paid was the deductible (the cost listed above is the total cost of the repair, not my out of pocket cost.) The fender repair and paint match was flawless, and it's as good as new. Autoplex also took care of repainting a door handle that suffered a major scratch from this incident, which was noticed after the first repair was done.

Only one odd thing: the volume knob on the radio was removed or knocked off during the repair, and wasn't replaced -- it was left in the cupholder. No harm done -- it just slid right back into its spot on the dash -- but whether it was removed deliberately or by accident, they should have put it back.

In brief: I got top-quality repair work at Autoplex, and also top-quality customer service. I hope I never need to use their services again :-) but they will be my first choice if I need auto body work in future.
