It is a nice, small, family auction house. The only thing that I would suggest that they improved on would be to have somebody who can deliver. I don't have good health and I bought a china cabinet and I had to find somebody to haul it. They didn't have anybody who could give me names or numbers or anything. They are very friendly and informal. I think they need a little better arrangement. It is small. If there were ever a fire, then I think it could be dangerous. I have been there multiple times and bought a lot of things from them. I got a nice stereo there for $20. They have nice stuff.

The commission rates are based on what we take them. I was happy with the end result. I would use them again in the future.

WE WERE UNHAPPY THAT THEY TACKED ON A $50 PICK-UP FEE WHICH NO ONE HAD MENTIONED IN ADVANCE. THEY DID TAKE A LOT OF STUFF, SO WE WERE SAVED THE WORK OF SELLING OR OTHERWISE GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE. THERE IS A LOT OF UNCERTAINTY IN AUCTIONS (WHICH WE KNEW) SO IT IS HARD TO GUESS WHAT PRICES YOU MIGHT GET; WE DID NOT GET AS MUCH AS WE THOUGHT WE MIGHT FOR A LOT OF THE THINGS AND THE 35% COMMISSION TOOK A FAIR AMOUNT OF THAT. ON THE OTHER HAND, IT IS A GOOD WAY TO EMPTY A LOT OF THINGS FROM A HOUSE. THEY DID LEAVE BEHIND THINGS THEY DIDN'T THINK THEY COULD SELL WHICH WE THEN GAVE AWAY OR THREW AWAY. IT TOOK A LONG TIME FROM AND REMINDER PHONE CALLS TO GET PAID AND THEY CHARGED US THE PICK-UP FEE TWICE BUT THEN REFUNDED IT.

TOOK EVERYTHING OUT OF STORAGE AND TOOK TO THEIR BARN. SOLD AND THEN SENT A CHECK WITH DETAILED REPORT. VERY GOOD FOLLOW-UP.
