They were very professional and patient. They gave individual attention to individual dogs as needed. Classes were well planned out and organized. They kept more aggressive dogs separate from the rest of us.
I put in a fake home build date because it was required even though this is about dog training.

Much like the earlier reviews, I had trouble with getting anyone to respond to information requests via both e-mail and phone messages. We recently brought home a new puppy and were very excited to get her into a training class. After no response after 3 attempts, I decided to overlook their obvious communication problems, and stop by the place in person. I was told that a new puppy kindergarten session was starting in 2 weeks. I collected information (by post-it note) on what to bring. I also provided my contact information and was told that someone would contact me if anything changed before class was to start. Here we are 2 weeks later and very eager to begin. I called yesterday to ask a question regarding my puppy's vaccination records...but, again, no response. I went to the facility tonight with one very eager puppy (and daughter) in tow, waited 15 minutes past the "start" time and no one showed up to start the class. The doors were locked. No one answered the listed phone number (even though the recording said their "office hours" are until 7:00...this was at 6:30). I (and others that were obviously given the same information) was very disappointed to not have class. I will not be returning. And, I'm sure the other puppies won't be either.

I am very disappointed. I really wanted to enroll my new puppy in class here. It is close to home and gets good reviews, but I cannot get anyone to respond to my emails. I initially called and left a message and followed-up with an email. At first I received a response, but when I had to request a later class because my puppy was neutered, no one responded. Like many people I am too busy to spend the day making phone calls. If this company doesn't want to correspond via email they should remove the address from the List and their website.

I would highly recommend Indy K-9. All of the trainers are very professional and you definitely get your money's worth. Before the first class started, we went to private 30 min orientation in which we met the trainer and she met our dog. Classes are approx 10 dogs, which is great for their socialization as well. Leah is our trainer and has over 30 years of training experience.

This was one of the best grooming experiences my dog has ever had! She is quite anxious and I explained this when I made the appointment. I asked if they wanted me to give her her tranquilizer before I brought her in, or just bring it with me so they could administer it an hour or so before they were ready to start on her. They told me they would like to try to groom her without using the drugs... so go ahead and bring it with me. When I picked her up that evening, she was a different dog!!! She was clean, well groomed and happy - and her tranquilizer was still in the bag I had brought it in! The staff at K9 Kollege really went "above and beyond" to make her feel comfortable. It did take longer, since they had to progress through the various steps slowly and give her time to relax between them, but they were very patient with her! I will definitely bring my dog here every time she needs to be groomed!

A friend of mine told about K-9, but I thought she might be a little biased. So I did some research and found excellent reviews and they were all right.

I have now trained four dogs at Indy K9. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have helped me help my dogs become good canine citizens.

Great so far. We have gone to 3 of the 6 hour-long classes and really feel that we are gaining a better understanding of our puppy's behavior. I cannot imagine raising a dog, especially a large dog, without this service.

I can get both dogs groomed and cared for during a day for a very good price, also Joann will reinforce their training which she had there. They do a great job! Also, when I pick up the dogs my sons come in with me, and Joann is always happy to talk with them about the dogs and her business. The dogs come home cleaned up and tired out - and a tired dog is a well-behaved dog! Ask about their multi-dog and rescue dog discounts.

The staff is very good. They take time to explain things and answer any and all questions.

I love the K-9 Kollege. They make me feel confident and comfortable leaving my dog with them. He comes back happy, smelling good, and with a little handkerchief on. They are very fairly priced and the shop is clean. My husband and I both work during the day and we're able to drop Monkey off before work (they open at 7 AM) and then he gets groomed, can stay in the doggie daycare, and then we can pick him up on our way home from work. And they do all of this at no extra charge. Monkey loves going there and comes back looking great!

This was an absolutely great experience. Over the 6 week course with other puppies in the class we had 2 trainers, Dawn and Stacy. There were many different breeds in my class which was nice. They were very knowledgeable and patient. Their love for dogs and training really showed and I have learned the tools to train my puppy so he will be obedient, but most of all happy and safe. They answered all my questions and also gave out very helpful handouts after each class. Next up is Basic Obedience 1, and I will definitely be taking my puppy there for more training.

Wonderful training, they were able to accommodate rescheduling us due to an interruption in classes due to my illness. The dog has really done wonderfully and I enjoyed the class experience. They did well also in helping to address out-of-class concerns for example with using a kennel at home and getting an electronic fence. We have another dog now and will be taking him in for classes, too. Also we liked them well enough to use them for doggie day care, too, and the dog loved them! They were recommended by my dog's veterinarian.

Very good training program, instructors are all very knowledgeable on what they are teaching. Discount for sign up of both puppy and basic obedience classes. Very friendly atmosphere.

EXECELLENT INSTRUCTORS! THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ATTENTIVE. I FELT THAT MY DOG AND I GOT THE PERSONAL ATTENTION WE NEEDED AS WELL AS WORKING IN A VERY OPEN AND FRIENDLY CLASS ENVIRONMENT. THE TRAINING STYLE WAS FIRM, BUT VERY LOVING FOR EACH DOG. IT HAS BEEN SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE THAT MY DOG AND I ARE CONTINUING WITH FURTHER TRAINING.
