Jeff Allen did a great job! My triple-chime clock had not been serviced for three years and had gradually developed three problems. One was that one of the chime rods did not ring true. Another was that the lever to change the chime tune and stop the chime sound had come loose and didn't work. The third was that one of the three movement weights did not decend. Jeff had not seen this movement before, but was able to assess the problems and worked for more than two hours to adjust everything. He eventually decided to take the movement to his shop to fix a remaining problem for which he didn't have the right tools with him. He told me it would take about a week to complete, but actually brought the clock back in four (4) days and it works perfectly and so far keeps accurate time. His bill was far less than I expected given how much time he worked on the clock. I couldn't be more pleased -- and I will certainly call him again when the clock needs service!

Jeff personally took the call when I called, set up a visit within the week, arrived right on time, fixed the clock in short order, and charged an exceedingly fair price for that type of service. He has my highest recommendation if you have any clock repair needs. Clock repair is a dying art and this guy is a gem in this area.

Jeff repaired the grandfather clock in our home at a reasonable price. It was from my fathers estate and had not worked in over five years. I am glad to hear the chimes once again.

Jeff was running a little late (15-20 minutes) for the appointment, but did call me to let me know which is always greatly appreciated. In addition to performing routine maintenance, he also gave me some good tips on how to treat the clock (winding, resetting the time, frequency of maintenance). He was very professional and very easy to talk to., explaining things in a manner that was easy to understand and in a manner that made me realize just how much he loved clocks and working on them. He performed the work in about 2 hours and it was very obvious that he was giving my clock thorough maintenance and that he definitely knew his trade. I would give him the highest recommendation and will definitely use him when I need clock repairs.

His price was cheap and the job was perfect. He was very competent, he came right away, and he called when he was done to see if everything was alright.
