"We have made several visits to this home since we installed the new equipment. This was a repossession purchased by the homeowner. We have taken pictures of the exposed underneath of the home. This was originally supposed to be enclosed by the homeowner when the installation was completed. Wild animals have access to the exposed duct work, and underneath of the home. The most recent visit was caused by a frog that got on the electrical panel inside their unit. We have a picture of the fried frog. The board was warrantied as a courtesy, when a fried frog was the issue, not part failure. They state they change their filters every 2 weeks. They state they are only there approximately 50 times a year, but they are there for several days at a time with several people visiting. They are trying to use the returns as a whole house vacuum system. They have complained repeatedly about air flow issues, and we have made several visits recommending that they complete the enclosure of the underneath of the home, because of the animal issue, and to use the recommended filters, which are thinner. Not the densely pleated ones they are using. We had recently done an airflow test with the proper equipment, per the homeowner's request. The airflow test showed the equipment was running to manufacturer's specs, and that the homeowner gained 10% more airflow if they used the recommended filters, not the ones they are trying to use to attempt to keep the dusting down in the home. The property owner was charged for this last visit, when we had not charged for the others. We found no faults with the equipment, and we cannot control wild animals getting into exposed duct work, or eating their way into the home. We have repeatedly advised the homeowner to complete his enclosure, and to use the cheaper filters. He has chosen to ignore that, and wants to blame everything else for that. He apparently was offended that we actually billed him for this visit. Mr. [Member Name Removed] "[Member Name Removed] should complete the enclosure, and may need to hire someone to do the housekeeping when they are not in residence. Using the returns and running the furnace fan constantly to attempt to drive the dust to the returns is not going to complete that for him. He should also increase his insulation of the home."
"Thank you so much! The customer and her mother, are a joy to work with and we look forward to providing many happy years of service to them."
