We continue to be pleased with our unit. However, we are extremely frustrated with the lack of responsiveness from Dave. We contacted him within 1 month to let him know that we had not received our rebate from Duke Energy. This was something that Dave was responsible for handling. He told us the rebate info had been submitted. We continued to call him about every 3-4 weeks from that point on. He continued to say that he would look into it or that it had been filed. Now he has told us to take care of it ourselves (even though we can't based on the guidelines with Duke). However, after contacting Duke, we were told that we only had 90 days to submit a claim. Dave has refused to return phone calls and emails. We asked that he address the issue with Duke or pay us the $200 - if not, he would lose our ongoing business. Given the amount of money that we spent on this job, I expected more professionalism from Dave and Southern Heating and Air Conditioning.
