The Bowman Boys has been providing stump removal services on the west side of Indianapolis for the past 15 years! In recent years, we have added additional services, more equipment, and expanded areas that now allow us to do any job, big or small, within a 40 miles radius of Avon, Indiana. We work for hundreds of customers every year, and we guarantee satisfaction to each and every customer before any payment is expected. Although most of our customers are residential, we do commercial work and have the experience (and insurance) to tackle any stump grinding job. Went really great. Managed to wiggle through a very tight spot to get to the stump then created various props and ramps to get the machine in position to get as much of the stump as possible. Well done. Professional. Courteous. He even reduced the quoted price because the job went a little quicker than he had expected.

A contractor I know referred Bowman Boys and called them this morning on my behalf. A couple hours later, they arrived, gave me the estimate, and I gave them the go-ahead. They could not have been more friendly or polite and performed the work very quickly (about 20 minutes). They were very careful about protecting my lawn and landscaping. I wish every contractor was this responsive and easy to work with!

I contacted Adam for a quote and he happened to have someone in the area the same day. The stump was between the house and the underground septic tank so I wanted someone with great reviews and experience. We discussed the situation, and the price. Great job done. I will use them again, and recommend to my neighbors.

Bowman was great! The stump in the front yard was encircled by a low landscaping brick wall filled with flowers and the stump itself was covered by a bird bath. They carefully disassembled the wall, uncovered the stump, ground it down, removed the debris, and put everything back. You can't even tell they were there. It was a tight fit getting the stump grinder through our gate and into the courtyard, but they carefully maneuvered it in and were able to neatly grind down the second stump and clean up the resulting debris. This was well worth the money. It was going to cost us $75+ rent a stump grinder for four hours, plus we would have had to find transportation for such a heavy piece of machinery in addition to actually doing the work and cleanup ourselves. Thanks Bowman Boys!

It went exceptionally well. I sent an email requesting a quote and was notified within 24 hours. The work was completed as quoted and they even went above and beyond and took care of a stump for us. I would most certainly call on them again and I?ve already recommended them to two other people. Their work ethic is nostalgic of the days past and it?s nice to find companies that value customers and stand by their namesake.

Adam and the rest of the Bowman boys were very professional. Adam came by the house yesterday to give an estimate. We were able to negotiate a great deal and he was even able to eques me into his schedule the next day. I came home from work and there was an army of four cleaning up. It looks great! The Bowman Boys are to landscaping as a good barber is to a great haircut. Some amateurs just slash and burn, but the Bowman Boys are quick, precise, and attentive to details. I felt that they took care of my yard as if it were their own. I look forward to hiring them again!

Missed a few of the small stumps amid the ivy in the back yard on the first go-around. I marked the stumps, called, and they came out the very next day (Saturday) and corrected the error. Everything was removed well below ground level and they left the area neatly raked. I'd definitely hire them again.
