Earlier this year I had to order a new pump in which they installed. The pump was fine, it ran with no issues and I was happy with their service. I decided to use their services to close down my pool this year, and this has caused me a huge headache. My pool has a dial timer in which there are two screw-on pegs that turn the pump on and off. Just under the dial is the on/off switch that those pegs interact with. The technician manually turned that on/off switch to the off position instead of the breaker that is on the same panel. Since he turned the wrong switch off, the 8am setting turned the pump on after it was winterized. The next day around 2pm I walked outside to see my roughly two month old pump smoking. I called Splash and was informed that the tech had to turn the unit off to winterize the lines. It felt as if I were being accused of turning on the pump after it was closed. She explained that this was out of her hands and she would have someone call us back. Later that day a man called and said basically the same thing.
"Member, I apologize to be talking under such disappointing news. This is very disconserting. I have attempted to look up your information in our system to research your history and all I can cross-reference is your address and a dis-connected number. We may have it recorded incorrectly. I would very much like to talk to you and get more details of your interactions. Please e-mail me directly at [email protected]. I know I cant fix what has happened to you, but I can make sure it doesn't happen again. We don't like to make mistakes and we certainly don't like to make them twice. Please email me so we can trade phone numbers. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again for your time. Rodney Williamson Owner"
