The work went pretty much as planned, with only a couple of unexpected surprises. The owner responded to those surprises, promptly. He drew a plan and did a detailed presentation, that included pictures of the plants. After review, he was very responsive to making a few minor changes to the plan presented.

It turned out just fine. They came out within two or three weeks after the big deal was purchased. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. This was the first time that I used them. They provided the service that was described. They came and provided the service all in one day. They didn't have to come back. The only issue was that they said that they had not received the notice from Angie's List that they typically receive. So, I had to call and follow up with them. As soon as I did, they were very responsive. I don't know how Angie's List communicates with the service providers to let them know that someone has purchased the deal. But, it was explained to me that it didn't come through the way it normally did.

Another excellent job by SmithScape. Decent price -- These guys showed up on schedule, did the work, cleaned up.

 We wish all service providers would match up to the level provided by SmithScape.

Went very well!  Work was done on time in a short schedule.  Looked very professional, they used quality, non-stinky mulch, I could not have asked for better!

Tim Smith is very professional and very personable.  He met with me several times to review the work I wanted done. He discussed possible designs and potential plants.  He measured areas carefully and completed a diagram of the work to be done. Tim also reviewed final choices of plants and shrubs with computer images.  Before any work was done, Tim provided an itemized list of the tasks, the plants, and the estimated cost.  Throughout the process, Tim carefully supervised his workers.  The work area was kept clean throughout the process. We have had many compliments of the finished landscaping and look forward to employing Tim and Smith Scape Landscaping again.

Work completed was excellent. We had Tim plant 5 blue spruce trees, amongst other work. Time was long due to availability of trees but Tim communicated very well throughout the process.

I purchased a Big Deal that they offered.  The entire experience was excellent.  Tim Smith was on it as far as communication both via text and the message center.  I knew what was going on at all times.  They were there when he said they would be and my landscaping hasn't looked this good in a long time.  I have received many compliments from neighbors and family.  I am very happy with the service and product they offer.  Great to work with.

Tim is great to work with, he is knowledgeable in the plants and worked with us on our plant choices and decisions.  He adjusted as we requested.  He did the most of the work in one day and looks great.  Second part of our job was to clear and seed an area where our shed was.  He came back in September to do this, as it was best time of year to seed.  He recently did this after we paid him in full.  We will use Tim again and have contacted him several times for tips on plant maintenance. 

Tim Smith is the owner and Tim returned my call shortly after I called for an estimate. He came out and looked over the job and set up a time in to meet in a few weeks to go over the plans and show me his recommendations. He showed up on time and sat down with my wife and I and showed us his master plan and pictures of the new plants and bushes that he would be installing. Target date for installation was 3 weeks later. His demolition and installation 3 weeks later went as planned and he and his crew finished the job in 4-5 hrs. It looks beautiful and it was exactly what we wanted. Tim is an educator during the school year and works dusk to dawn during the summer. He has a crew of 5-6 young men and hires many of his ex-students. I would highly recommend Smithscape for your landscaping needs. I plan to use Tim again for future landscaping needs.

Mr. Smith came out  to meet with us and talk about what we wanted in our landscaping project for our new house.  He drew up a plan and brought out photos of all the plants/trees he was suggesting.  He showed up on time as promised each time and was open to discussing our ideas and answering all our questions. He led the harworking crew and everyone was very professional. We love how our landscaping turned out and Smith Scape will be the first phone call we make for any of our landscaping needs in the future.

Fabulous!  Mr. Smith was punctual and courteous.  His crew was great.  The yard looks so nice, and mowing is now much easier due to the mulching.  Price was very reasonable for the amount of work done.  The crew actually completed the work about 12 days before promised.   I will definitely use SmithScape for additonal jobs either this year or next.

Tim responded to my voice mail on the day I called (unlike two other services who never responded to voice or email messages).  An appointment to obtain an estimate was promptly scheduled.  At the time of the appointment, Tim was good at asking questions about the nature of the work I wanted done and offering suggestions about landscaping options to consider.  The work was done within the timeframe discussed and was done well.  The amount charged was right in line with the estimate provided.  Tim is very knowledgeable and is extremely customer-service oriented.  Overall an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for landscaping services.

Their price was good for what they did.  You have to be a little flexible with them because they are slow but that’s fine.  They worked on weekends and at nights but that’s fine.  It’s well worth it to work with them.  They were really good.  I will absolutely use their services again in the future.

Every summer he hires kids from his church and high school. Some of the kids work for him through college. He does a great job. He does a drawing before the job and will sit down with you to see what you want. We have compliments on our yard all the time.
