The Shirk’s are AMAZING! This place was half the price of other glass companies. They were very nice and accommodating!

They ordered the replacement windshield & replaced it after receipt of the part. Replacemet was accomplished in a timely manner. Staff was knowledgeable & friendly.

Terrific! Table top was non-standard, and we discussed various options. Their recommendations were spot on. Turned out beautiful.

Shirk's is our go-to place for glass repair. This was the 3rd time I've used them and each time the experience is the same. Nice folks, good work and great prices.

It went extremely well. They were prompt and professional. Phil even realigned and adjusted the movable side of the door so that it opens and closes easier.

We were initially referred by our real estate agent and also called some other companies. We did our research on Angie's List to confirm this would be a good company and were not let down! Shirk glass was quick to get over and do the initial estimate. They were quick to return all calls and emails back and forth between us! They were up front about the fact the order would take 7-10 days to get in before they could install. Considering this was part of our selling process of our home we were pleased to have someone able to communicate the process and all the steps and timeline from the beginning. They were also able to do this while I was at work and some elderly roommates were home. They were comfortable to have them in the home and were not worried about safety or anything while the company was there. I arrived for my appointment to have the chip in my wife's windshield repaired and Tammy's husband came out immediately to look at it. As soon as he saw the "chip" he could see it was an old chip and had already been filled. He said whoever did it had done a good job and there was nothing to do to it. Apparently, my wife and I had never seen the small "chip" before and thought it was created when we heard the rock hit the windshield. Instead of faking a repair I thought I needed he was honest about it and saved me the $45.00. I highly recommend Shirks in Avon, Indiana as a company to use because of their honesty, integrity and friendliness. Also conveniently located in Avon on US 36! It is refreshing to find a company that cares and greets customers with a smile and a kind word! God bless!

This was our first interaction with Shirk's and we decided to use them because of their excellent Angie's List rating. Everybody was right! Wonderful folks and excellent service. They were willing to take a salvaged window that I found (the vehicle was old enough that I wasn't able to locate a new one) and install it. They actually charged me about $15 less than they had originally estimated. Now that I know they do non-auto glass as well, we'll definitely be using them again.

Shirk's is a small, family owned glass service, who provide personalized repair. I was very impressed by their knowledge of autoglass manufacturers and assurance that the windshield would be "top quality". They promptly returned my phone call on the first day back from vacation, as promised on the voice recording. I was able to schedule the repairs and dropped off the car the evening before. They had completed the repairs by 12 noon the next day and did a thorough explanation of the repairs, the quality of the materials used, post repair cautions to ensure proper curing of the adhesive, etc. I was very impressed by the friendly, service oriented nature of their business. In addition, the price for the quality was excellent when compared to other services investigated which included the use of Angie's List. There were less expensive options but the quality of the windshield glass was noticeably inferior (ripples; distortion in sections of the glass) and more expensive (dealer was 3 times the cost). I would highly recommend them for their prompt, honest and quality work.

From my first phone call to Tammy I knew I had made the right decision calling them. She is so friendly and has a great willingness to help. I called on a Monday and had an appointment on Wednesday! They completed the repair in under the time I was quoted and made me feel at home while I waited. I would highly recommended them to anyone in the area for quick, efficient, high-quality service!

I was able to schedule a repair when I walked in to the office. The receptionist was very knowledgeable and scheduled my repair right away. I came in the next day and the repair was done right away. The owner showed me what he did once the repair was complete. They guarantee their work so I am confident the windshield will last during its continued life time.

I was very please with Shirks work. They gave me an estimate, and called to schedule an appointment. They came when they said they were going to, and did a really good job. I would recommend them to anyone else who is looking for any type of glass work.

Back in August, Phil installed a couple of new windows in our newly acquired home. I was impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. So when I needed some custom glass tops made for our office desks, Shirk's was the first place I thought of. I didn't really shop around for a good deal. Friendliness and good customer service is important to me. Tammy and Phil were both pleasant to work with and the glass desktops are top notch workmanship. I would recommend Shirk's in a heartbeat.

We had gone to a "cheap" windshield company to only have the windshield to crack within 90 day. It wasn't covered by warranty. Well, you get what you pay for. Not only did they use the thinnest glass possible, they also damaged my frame.

It went wonderful. We were so pleased with the work they did for us back in August when they replaced a broken windshield in our car and reinstalled a chrome windshield, that we decided to contact them about replacing fogged glass in 2 large windows in our home. We avoided this project for 3 years because we knew window replacement was costly and because our home is 30 years old, most likely it would require total window replacement. We called Shirk's to come out and give us a recommendation. We were shocked and thrilled to know that they could fix the issue by replacing the glass only vs total window, saving us a significant amount of money. They scheduled an appt. on the spot, showed up on time, replaced 4 separate double paned glass sections to windows on the second floor, and cleaned the windows and any mess before leaving. Phil was so friendly and professional. We were so pleased with his workmanship, the cost, and now we can see out our windows

A rock had hit my windshield and made a small hole. In order to keep it from spreading across the windshield Shirks repaired it so that only a small pin p**** shows and will keep it from spreading. At the time that I made the appointment, they told me how long it would take and the cost. I arrived at the appointed time, they took my car right in, repaired the break, and had it completed within a half hour. I was extremely pleased with the entire process. The people working there were very polite and helpful.

We were able to get the car in 2 days from date called. There was no wait time when we got there. The were very friendly and professional. Did a great job - no damage to the chrome sun-visor and no extra charge for handling removal and reattachment. We would highly recommend them. They also do home window replacement. We have two windows with broken seals and no doubt we will contact them to fix.

These guys were great. I decided to go with a local shop rather than Safelite like Progressive asked me to for my windshield to be replaced. Great quality, very nice, worked with insurance to get me OEM Ford glass rather than aftermarket at my request and it was all done in one day. I also used them a second time on my truck with the same scenario and it was equally a great experience. Will always use them for glass in the future.
