The challenge with some contractors is that you never known the quality of their work once it is behind walls. Unfortunately, we found out the hard way that Roz had completely screwed up the installation of our bathroom. The shower pan was installed incorrectly which led to leaking into the room below. To compound this, when we pulled out the tile to address the leak - we discovered that they had not installed backerboard correctly leading to extensive mold. So - after paying 5,000 to have our entire house mold treated, we had to take the bathroom down to the studs, have the shower pan installed correctly and have all of the tile around the shower reinstalled. To "fix" her job cost us an additional 8,000.
Roz is a nice person, but be very wary of contractors who get outside of their knowledge and comfort zone. I was willing to overlook certain things like subway tile with the wrong grout - but installing a bathroom with the knowledge that it will grow mold is negligent and dangerous. The mold guys actually had to come back twice because the type of mold was so resistant.
I am sure that she is fine for HVAC, but do NOT hire her for bathroom work.
