HomePro installed our A/C and Furnace just before we moved in. We have had nothing but issues with this company and their work. They lack communication and follow through. My family has been without heat completely at least 10 times all when it is extremely cold. Water heater freezes in this temperature as well. The furnace drain pipe runs outside and freezes. (it's Indiana) And furnace installed is not big enough for the square footage of my house yet they refuse to take any blame. Riser box and pipes are not insulated, at all. The kicker is we are still under warranty. We have a one year old ac and furnace They have "fixed" the duct work. It is haphazard at best, not pulled tight, zig zagging in the attic, makes no sense. We had a leak in our a/c coil which they could not identify where it was coming from after multiple visits. Terrible company. Every technician blaming the last one swearing to get it all fixed no problem. The last guy that was out one week ago took my vent covers off in my bedrooms and asked if that was better. period. Do not recommend. I have hired an attorney.

Wonderful. The install crew was great, cleaned up after themselves, answered all my questions. They were on time for both the quote and the install. They followed up to make sure I was happy- I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

I wanted to share a service experience I recently had with Homepro Heating and Air out of Avon. I will not elaborate fully to save some reading. I called them out for an emergency service repair last Saturday night for one of my rental properties. The technician identified the issue as a defective circuit board after 2 hours of testing. I told him I agreed to replace if he was certain it was the board. They charged me $671 for the board itself and $75 to open the supply house after hours. Technician left and furnace quit within 30 minutes. Contacted them again on Sunday. They sent out a different tech that determined it to be a defective gas valve. He changed it without my consent or knowledge. They didn't even reach out to me. I had to reach to the tech from the night before to get an explanation. Furnace quit again after tech left. I again phoned them on Monday and they sent the tech from Sunday back. He then said it was a limit switch and changed. He also said it appears to be a combustion air issue and unit would run without doors on. He called the office to inquire on what to do. He got off the phone and advised me they would be there the next morning to install a fresh air flue. Again furnace went out. Tuesday at 11am I called the operations manager Rick to inform him of furnace not running. He went to the property to troubleshoot himself. I showed up an hour later to see what was found out. He said the filter needs to be a 1", run fresh air flue, and adjust exhaust flue. I informed him I would do that the next morning and call him to inform. Wednesday morning all he suggested was done. I installed the furnace cover and 7 minutes later the furnace quit. I immediately called Rick at Homepro and got his voicemail. This was 12pm Thursday, it is now 8:24pm Friday and I have yet to hear anything from Homepro. I sincerely try to use local businesses for my needs, but steer clear from HOMEPRO as their so called service techs have no formal training. I am so glad that I only have to write this once and can copy/paste to Yelp/Yext/BBB/Angie's list/Google By the way I hired another local contractor that troubleshot and fixed in an 1-1/2 for a $5 part

We set up appointment for 9am. Rick made it clear that he had things to do and other appointments to get to that day so I assumed his schedule was tight. My husband cleared his clients for the morning so he could be there (we both have jobs). It was 10:15am and no one had called or showed up. I called Rick and he said that his guy was just now loading the water heater on to the truck and they would be there soon. He never apologized for the inconvenience or gave an exact time when they would get there. They arrived so late that I had to leave work to relieve my husband so he could go take care of his clients. The tech that finally showed up was very nice and accommodating, however he still had to wait for Rick to bring him another part for one of the installs. This is the company that my landlord uses for home service so I have no choice in whether we use them again.
