He was early to get set up before Duke energy came to cut power and remove meter base. Had inspector come a couple hours into job, shortly thereafter he was all ready for Duke energy to come back and reconnect power.

Kevin provided a very reasonable estimate for the work to be performed and scheduled to do the work the next day. He was very courteous and professional. He even helped me wire and install a new wall oven as well as the cook top. I will definitely use Hendricks County Electric for any future electrical service needs.

He was very professional and patient with all questions. He cleaned up and even wore booties. He completed all the tasks in one day and worked around our schedule. He had an extremely pleasant personality. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use him again.

This company and owner have always done a great job. We have used them at least 4 times in the past two years. Many of the calls we make are for fixes and/or additional things we need done to our home. I have owned a home for over 20 years and had many electricians, but the owner of this company is the most experienced and detailed of any electrician I have ever used. He comes out and does great job. Most impressive is that there are more than a few times where he sees a problem that we didn't originally call him for and when possible he has fixed the issue without additional charge; I admit it was usually something minor, but he took the initiative to do a little extra when he realized it was needed.
He is polite and professional and seems to have a broad range of experience. I was looking for an independent contractor/electrician to rely on for all of our needs going forward. The bigger companies tend to have a lot of turnover and when I last called a larger competitor they couldn't even tell me when they would able to schedule service. I have found the small independent contractor that is reliable and trustworthy and priced very competitive. I would recommend him to anyone.

It went very well. I told Kevin what I needed and he gave me my options and an estimate. He was prompt on both the estimate appointment and the actual appointment to do the work. Kevin was prompt, efficient, neat, and he cleaned up after himself when the job was complete.

It went well. Extremely professional and nice. Answered any questions that I may have had. He made sure that I had the proper equipment for some of the lights that I purchased. The ones that I purchased were incorrect and he was able to provide me the correct bulbs for my security lights. I highly recommend Kevin and Hendricks County Electric Co. A few weeks later, I was having a little problem with one of my lights not working properly. Kevin came back out at no additional cost and made sure that the light was working properly.

This is a GREAT provider. Kevin responded to my message on Angie's List the very next morning after I contacted his company. He called me later that same day and scheduled an estimate. I gave him a guest code for my garage, and he came and took a look at the panel while I was at work. I came home and the estimate was in my mailbox. We scheduled for 10/9 to do the install. He actually came to my house today (10/8) when he found that he had scheduled jobs that would make it difficult for him to make our original appointment so he rearranged his work to get to my job early.
I am pleased with his value offered, his timeliness, and his demeanor. This is a quality provider and worthy of your business.

The GFCI outlet was the surface issue. The owner actually explained why the fault had happened and replaced more than one outlet. He also went through my circuit panel as well as into my attic to make sure he traced the wires properly. I felt like his service was complete and detailed. For the amount of time that he spent at my home, the bill was very reasonable. I am convinced that he took real pride in his work and wanted to do the job properly.
I am more impressed the he actually did make some good recommendations on security lighting around my home. Based on his comments I have asked him to put in some extra security lighting. He was right in that there were many dark areas around my home and I am grateful that he took the time to explain a simple solution.
Based on my fantastic experience, we are hiring Hendricks County Electric to do more work inside our home and I will no doubt be writing another great review. I have worked with lots of different contractors and I consider Hendricks County Electric my permanent electrician.
Incidentally, I found Hendricks County Electric after calling another local electrician that I had worked with before. They could not return my call nor tell me when they would be available. Hendricks County Electric was able to visit me in about the same day that I called for service. I would highly recommend this company.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Kevin answered our call right away and came out quickly (late in the afternoon/dinner time) when we explained the bad smell and tripping breaker that we were experiencing in our main panel. He made everything safe within the box that day, making sure we could still have a/c during the hot weather, then replaced the necessary parts as soon as the electric company could pull the meter. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, personable, and prompt.

I called Hendricks Electric for a free estimate to install a dedicated 20 amp electrical circuit recommended for my treadmill. It took a few calls to get connected, but Kevin came promptly at the arranged time. He inspected the the area outlets and indicated some nearby should already be 20 amp according to code. Sure enough he was correct. He verified that 2 outlets within reach were 20 amp. It saved me a lot of money. While he was here I ask him to explain my photo cell because my lights didn't seem to be timing accurately lately. He explained that over time they do need replaced and that would probably fix the problem. He had one with him and replaced it immediately. Kevin was very professional and took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly. The cost was very reasonable.
