My experience was excellent. The gentlemen was timely and very efficient.

I found the company on Angies List and called to schedule a service call. The flood light was old and had stopped working and needed to be replaced. Brightstar purchased the light fixture and installed it for us. Service was quick and friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

It was professionally done. If we have a need we will use them again.

I used a $75 coupon from Angie's List, I was very pleased with what I paid. They are personable and he is an overall great guy. They were quick, precise, and I was more than pleased.

I had Brightstar come out a couple times. Once for the estimate and then again for the actual work. On both occasions I scheduled the technician at the very first time slot in the morning hoping that since I was first he'd arrive promptly at ~8 AM. However, in both instances, the technician arrived a 1/2 hr to 1 hr into the timeframehence an undistinguished "Fair" grade for punctuality. Overall the technician (Jon) did a very good job and particularly in light of the fact that he was outside or up in the attic most of the day on a 90+ degree day w/o any help. His clean-up in the yard from the trench excavation was OK but could've been better as it looked like the dirt that was dug out during the trench excavating was just plopped right back in the trench w/o much TLC and I found many dirt clods around the yard the next few days. During the work the technician had to leave a couple times to get more parts but communicated very clearly what he was doing and ultimately completed all work w/in 1 day as planned. While there's room for improvement in terms of punctuality and clean-up, the overall quality of the final work was very good so I would recommend Brightstar.

IWater overflowed onto my dryer and the plug short circuited. It looked absolutely ghastly. I couldn't believe I was able to get someone to come out on New Year's Eve day, but come out they did! And oh my goodness...he was prompt and as clean and crisp as I've ever seen when calling for repairs. He went right about his work. I asked him if he could put another plug on the dryer and while he could he made sure I understood that the short circuit problem may have affected the dryer it self. I opted to go for it...he was right, it didn't work, but I was grateful that he gave me the option. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to provide the report. I had trouble figuring out how to write one~ Seems pretty simple now that I've finally figured it out!

The electrician was scheduled to arrive between 11am and 1 pm. I called around 12:30pm because no one had called me to notify they were on the way. There was a misunderstanding on my phone number, but they were able to send a technician by 1:30. I originally wanted two remotes installed for some ceiling fans, but after consulting with the electrician I decided to have a dimmer switch installed on one ceiling fan and had to replace the other. The electrician didn't have the switch in his van and I needed to get a new fan, so I made a quick run to Lowe's. The technician installed everything in approximately 40 minutes and did a good job. I thought the overall price was on the high end, but overall I would recommend this company.

They arrived on time and the repair only took 30 minutes. The repair man was very curtious and professional

Don and I climbed through the attics of my home. It was an enlighting experience. We had a great conversation and I now understand what they have to go through. After everyhing was done he stayed and we talked being two veterans. I truly enjoyed the conversation. My only problem is they never emailed me an estimate.

It went fine. The fellow who came was very efficient and pleasant, put covers on his shoes, cleaned up afterwards and was very thoughtful in all he did. He came on time also.

The appointment representative was very responsive to our request for service. She called to let us know the technician was on his way on the day of service and the technician arrived on-time. Upon arrival, the technician looked at the work to be done and gave an estimate. We agreed to have the work done based on the estimate and he was able to complete the work that day. We are happy with the quality of work but thought the price was a little high. The $75 Angie's List coupon basically off-set the $69 trip fee.

My major appliances had stopped working but my outlets and lights were operating normally. I called three companies for estimates, including Brightstar. Jon informed me regularly by phone of his progress to my condo, since bad weather made the road conditions dangerous and slow-moving. He looked over the problem and informed me, as had the previous two companies, that the problematic parts needed to be replaced as soon as possible because they represented a fire hazard. He gave me a written estimate for $372 to replace the bad parts plus the $49 service call charge. This was below both other estimates I received (one was $450-500 and one was $783!) so I authorized him to perform the work as soon as possible. He was able to complete the job in about an hour and my power was out for maybe 30 minutes. This was not an inconvenience because the important electrical machinery in my house wasn't working anyway (i.e. the furnace). I also received an Angie's List discount from my magazine so I was able to save even more. Jon was very polite and friendly. He also wore booties in my house, which was nice. I will definitely call Brightstar again for future electrical needs. The lesson I really learned from this experience, though, is to always get three estimates! I'm still getting over the one that was twice as much as Brightstar's!

Because Jon Truitt was so professional, skilled, and personable the first time he came to the house we had him return to install our new ceiling fan. He met our expectations just as fully this time. He was on-time, did a great job on the installation, provided information on additional services that I inquired about, and cleaned up all the debris left from the install. We'll certainly have him back for our next electrical job!

We live in a old house and I've never been quite certain about the electrical wiring. The technician checked and tested the panel and referred us to the power company. It turned out to be a problem with the transformer. He could have easily done and/or charged us for unnecessary repairs, but was honest and above-board. He also evaluated our ceiling fan which had dropped and recommended replacement. We will definitely be giving BrightStar a call for that service.Jon was great

I had an excellent overall experience. I was able to get same-day service, which I appreciated because I was having appliances delivered the next day. The technician thoroughly explained the work that was to be performed and was able to complete the repair within an hour. The new electrical socket works very well and I would hire Brightstar again.

Arrived on time. Upon further looking the light replacement they ordered was the wrong size. They were able to rebuild the current light, update wiring and light bulb for the same price. They had to use scaffolding to reach the light and were very careful with the building of the scaffold. Both electricians were very nice, knowledgeable, kept me up on any problems and advised me anytime they left. Fantastic job.
