After picking up my dog at the B&S Kennel, I became aware that he had been injured while under their care. He was severely limping and will not even put weight on his foot when sitting. After speaking with a very rude manager and the owner, I did not receive an explanation for this injury or even an apology for the absence of any notification given to me when they noticed the injury. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any business. DO NOT BOARD YOUR ANIMALS HERE!

I cant remember the exact date and cost I know it was expensive it was about $30 a day. They have kind of a funny arrangement of ours where you can bring your dog in over a certain hours and so you have to work around that set up. And I did think for what they were doing it was a little expensive but other than that I'm dissatisfied with anything else.

We have used them for years. They are really good. Our dog is worth it. He is a golden retriever. He had a problem and they took him to the vet for me. They gave him his medicine.

Prompt and courteous. They did everything that they said they would do.

I have taken all my dogs (now 3) to B and S Kennels for about 10 years. The care and service has always been excellent.
Most recently, I dropped off my 12 year old yellow lab for boarding over Thanksgiving (we were leaving for a trip after Thanksgiving dinner). My lab had no outward signs of any illness at the time I dropped her off. I got a call from Kayleigh Thanksgiving morning and advised me Casey was seriously ill and Kyle (the owner) had personally taken her to an emergency vet clinic. Kyle called me and filled me in on the situation and shortly the vet called me and gave me the terrible, unexpected news. Casey was diagnosed with sudden internal bleeding tumor related and had little time left. Keep this in mind that this is Thanksgiving day and Kyle had personally spent several hours with Casey and me at the vet's office as we put her down. The vet advised that Casey would have bled out if she was not immediately attended to.
I personally want to thank Kyle and his staff for their immediate attention to my beloved Casey...especially on a holiday. (Kyle does have a family with children). Their immediate handling of this situation provided me the opportunity to be with Casey and say my final goodbyes/I love yous. Kyle shrugged it off as all in a day's work...but to me this is invaluable and demonstrates, care, compassion and over the top service.
I wanted to share my personal story for those who are wondering if their pet will get the personal attention and care that you provide at home.

We walked in unannounced for a tour and were kindly walked around the place by the owner Kyle. It was clean and the staff seemed caring. We called later to book reservations and were treated nicely. Our dog was greeted and handled well when we arrived and we were encouraged to call and check on him whenever we wanted. Picking him up was a simple process.

Very straightforward with their services on the website. Staff is friendly and attentive to concerns for your pet. Reasonable prices.

I have been using them since 2004. I use them 3 or 4 times last year. They are the best kennel in the area. They are the cleanest kennel to me in the area. They will let us know if there has been an infestation or kennel cough has come to their kennel. They will be honest about it and let us know not to bring the dogs in until they can clean the infection out, even though it will cost them business. Their vet is the same vet as I use. They will not do anything more in services that what you ask for. There are no hidden charges. They take good care of your animal, of your pet.

About 4 days into our trip out of state I got a call from one of the owners. They were concerned that our older dog seemed to be pacing all night rather than sleeping. I explained this was normal behavior if she was allowed to sleep all day. The staff accommodated their guest by keeping her in the office with them during the day. They treated our old friend like one of their own family! I really appreciated how they treated our dog and made her stay comfortable. They are good people.

They were very professional and did a wonderful job! My husband dropped them off and said that the staff was very friendly. My pug was a little scared since she hasn't been to the groomer since her surgery. I think she thought we were taking her to the vet. When I arrived at home that evening, the cat and dog were both very happy! They looked and smelled great! Even after letting my pug out in the rain to use the bathroom, she didn't come in with that and quot;wet dogand quot; smell. I am very pleased with their services and will use them again in the near future! Thank you for taking such great care of our animals!

My dogs had a wonderful stay at Band S Boarding! They were taken well care of and came back with wagging tails and sloppy grins! Price was a great value and fit into our budget.

They were very nice, informative, what services were included and what additional things we wanted, like baths or grooming. It wasn't just about the grooming part but was about boarding too. Overall They were very nice and I give them a B rating.

The experience was excellent. The facilities were clean and well-kept. They were friendly, professional, and highly accommodating to my pets' special needs.

My 3 yr old dog was a rescue and doesn't always do well with strangers. He is terrified of being confined in any way, which can make grooming a challenge. We went to Band S because the dog would no longer get out of the car at the place I used to take him - bad sign. Band S was clean, reasonably priced, easy to find, and easy to schedule. There was no surprise increase in price when I picked him up, which happened at other places. My dog seemed to connect with the groomer there, and even let himself be put in the drying kennel which totally shocked me. I've got another appointment scheduled.

Band S is a no-frills kennel, but the staff is very friendly and professional. You do have to pay close attention to their hours around holidays - being family-operated, they are sometimes closed more than just the holiday. You must pre-pay for holiday stays to reserve your kennel. We've lost our money before by forgetting to get the dog there before they closed the day before a holiday, but that's our own fault. They explain the policy very clearly when you reserve your kennel space. Everyone there is very nice and our dog seems happy when she gets home. They will provide blankets on request, but do not allow you to bring your own. We're happy with them, and will use them again. They seem to really love the animals!

INDIVIDUAL PENS and MUSIC. LIKES ANIMALS AND DID A GREAT JOB.

WHEN I PICKED HER UP, SHE WAS DISORIENTED, LETHARGIC, DIDN'T RECOGNIZE ME, AND HAD GREEN MUCUS COMING OUT OF HER NOSE AND EYES. THEY TOLD ME MY DOG WAS GREAT ALL WEEK AND THAT SHE'S HAD NO PROBLEMS. WHEN I SAID SHE LOOKED DRUGGED, THEY JUST SAID, SHE'S JUST MELLOW (WHICH NORMALLY, SHE IS BY BREED). I HAD TO PICK MY DOG UP TO LOAD HER IN THE CAR FOR SHE WAS SO WEAK SHE COULDN'T DO IT HERSELF. I DROVE HER TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY WHERE THEY COULD IMMEDIATELY SEE SHE WAS SEVERELY ILL. THE PEOPLE AT THE KENNEL SAID SHE ATE WELL, DIDN'T HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF BEING ILL. MY VET COULD TELL BY PICKING UP HER TAIL AND LOOKING AT HER BEHIND THAT SHE'D HAD SOME DIARRHEA (AND MY DOG WAS GROOMED THAT MORNING BY THE KENNEL, TOO). WHEN I CONTACTED THE KENNEL, THEY CLAIM SHE WAS PERFECTLY FINE, AND THAT SHE 'MUST'VE GOTTEN SICK WHEN YOU BROUGHT HER HOME.' CONSEQUENTLY, MY DOG SPENT 2 DAYS IN THE ANIMAL ICU FOR SEVERE DEHYDRATION, AND UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION.

VERY CLEAN, TIDY, DOGS HAVE THEIR OWN COVERED RUNS, AND THE KENNEL DOESN'T SMELL LIKE A KENNEL.
