Duncan's Fireplace & Masonry Restorations, LLC

We hired Duncan for tuck-pointing and installation of a top-down damper. When I was told the tucked-pointing was complete, I paid the balance and then discovered that multiple areas had not been addressed or were incomplete. After I contacted Duncan and asked that he complete the work, one individual returned, but left without finishing. I asked that someone complete the job and the same employee returned and again failed to complete the job. Finally, after he returned a third time, the job was close enough and I was tired of dealing with this contractor. The damper Duncan installed does not function properly, as it is difficult to open and close. I called Duncan multiple times about it and he was always too busy to address it. Since my wife cannot operate the damper, she cannot use the fireplace if I am not here. So, now I am going to hire someone else to do the job as it should have been done.

Mike did an excellent job. On time, professional and courteous. Knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. I had to wait almost two months because they're so busy, but it was worth it.

Mike and his team did an excellent job. They repaired my brick walkway which was quite extensive and did superb work. The mortar matched perfectly which was important because the walkway leads right up to the front door. The price came in right on his estimate. I would definitely use Mike again.

Mike and his team are extremely professional and do an amazing job. He took on the task of repairing our brick wing wall and restoring are outdoor fireplace. He went above and beyond to make sure that the replacement bricks matched exactly to our current color. The restoration of the brick fireplace was beyond what I had envisioned. His team got the job done quickly and on budget. I will definitely keep his number handy for future projects.

Mike gave me a fair price, Due to sub freezing weather he was not able to do the work as scheduled but went the second mile by completing the job on Sunday.
