We now decided to re-do the master bath. We ordered the same finishes as the main bath. Although their main installer was swamped and the work was delayed, they told us at the point of order that it would be delayed, and kept us informed.
Monday, they installed the shower. What I assumed would be a two day job took only one day, and it's beautiful. We're still waiting on the vanity (which we ordered from a separate supplier--not Surber's) to arrive, so the job can be completed.
I'm very pleased with their workmanship, professionalism and materials. I highly recommend Surber's.
It went great. There were no problems.
They did what they
:No way I can tell the whole story now. Too long ago. I spoke in detail to a man who called be a few years ago. If that information was recorded, you have it all.
"We did not even know this member had a service issue until 1/31/2013 almost 10 years after installation. If a previous customer would have not informed us about this Angie's list report we would of never known. After reading the report we contacted the customer to fix the service issues. We serviced all issues on 2/8/2013. We installed these windows in 2003 and another batch in 2004. Our records show one service in 2004 signed completed by the homeowner. After researching this complaint further I discovered this member stopped one of our employees at the grocery store and issued the complaint. Since, the service did not go through proper channels the ball was dropped. This is not the fault of the customer but if they would have followed standard practice and just called into the office a service ticket would have been pulled. The above statement is 100% false. I (Charles) only have been to this member’s house 2 times 2003 for the first sale and 2004 for the second sale. We have service personnel that take care of the services so I would have never been on site for the related issues. If service issues cannot be fixed I would show up on site with a manufacturer rep to finalize a solution. Our windows are a lifetime warrantied product if the factory would have deemed them bad we would have replaced the entire lot at the expense of the manufacture. In short this does us no good to blow off a service related issue since we are compensated for our time from our vendor. In my 20 years at Surber's I can recall 3 times we could not resolve a service issue and all three times the manufacture gave the customer new windows and reimbursed us for our labor."
If we have another remodel in the future, I will be calling them!
