They were so helpful. They were about to close when I arrived, but they still took the time to program the remotes so they would work. I returned on another day and told them how my garage door opener had smoked and sizzled, and I was assuming I would need another garage door opener, but they explained to me why it smoked and said I didn't need another one at this time. I really appreciated their honesty, because I would have believed them if they had said I needed a new garage door opener. Thank God for an honest business

I called to schedule an appointment for our garage door to be fixed. I got a next-day appointment between 1-2 and she told me they would call when they were on their way. They called the next day at 12:30 and asked if it was OK to come a little early, which worked out great for me. Both guys that came were very professional, had the problem diagnosed in about 20 seconds, and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. The door works great now and the price was super reasonable. It could not have gone better! I will definitely hire this company again if we have any more garage door needs.

It was a good experience. The door was installed by the contractor about a year ago. Joe said it didn't look like it was lubricated when it was installed, which caused it to bind up. He also gave us information on maintaining the door so that there won't be problems in the future.

I ordered the wood looking door the following day and was advised it would take 2-3 weeks for the door to come in since the door was a special order. They contacted us yesterday to advise us the door was in and wanted to set up an appointment for installation. LG was at my residence today before the scheduled time and installed a very nice wood looking garage door. The techs were very friendly and professional and did an excellent job in installing the door for us. They even hauled away the 50-60 year old wood door that was up. I would recommend LG to anyone who inquires about it. My wife just loves the door

Only drawback (and it was minor) was that they appear to be a small company which made it a little difficult to get a hold of them. I left a voice mail which was not returned promptly. However, when I did reach them (I kept trying because a neighbor referred them), appt was scheduled for the following day. They arrived promptly, replaced the springs, lubed all moving parts, and checked for proper operation. All this was done in about 20-30 mins which was nice. Overall a very good experience and I would use them again.

Great! I called them in the morning and scheduled an appointment that same afternoon. Two men arrived in a company van, discussed my problem and provided a solution. Great guys and great service provided.

First one of us got the date wrong on when he was coming, office person said it was her fault. So he comes the next day after I called in the no-show. Good stuff first: when he came I watched everything. He looked things over thoroughly, found and replaced a cracked hinge. Fine. He sprayed lubricant on all the rollers and hinges and the tension springs. Ok, great. So far he is here ten minutes or less. Then he brings me the bill, ready to leave! I had to ask if he was going to lubricate the opener chain. Apparently he had not even looked at it. He said it " probably" didn't need it, felt it in one spot, and came away with oil on his fingers to show me. He did not look at the rest of the chain, or at any of the opener system any further. Then I had to ask if he was going to check or adjust the tension springs. He said it " probably" didn't need it, especially with a light weight door like mine, then went on to tell me what the symptom would be if a spring broke, probably during the (upcoming) Winter! I thought, "Hey, I called you to make sure it wouln not break in the first place!" He was ready to go and nearly tapping his foot for me to sign the bill and pay it. The parts charges were reasonable, but the bill listed an $11 charge for "shop materials," which as far as I could tell was a dozen or two squirts from a can of lubricant! The service charge was about $75 for less than 15 minutes, very little effort, and no attention to the major parts that I needed to make sure were all good till next year. I am still trying to decide whether to call the boss, confront him, and try to get some of my money back; but it bothers me to have that issue to even consider. NOT happy.

Unexpectedly our garage door would not open. At first I thought the door opener wasn't working. Then I noticed that one of the springs was broken. This company advertises on their website that they are open 24 hrs/7 days a week. I discovered the broken spring at about 7:30 pm. I had the next day off from work, so it wasn't crucial it be fixed that night. I called an left a message that it would be ok if they contacted my the next morning. The next morning I received a call approximately 8:00 am. They told me they would be able to get here to fix it the same morning. They called approximately 20 minutes before they arrived at about 9:15 am. They had both springs replaced, adjusted the opener and serviced the door in less that 25 minutes. Great service and even better price. I highly recommend this company.

They came very quickly, repaired it on-site, and charged an extremely reasonable fee for the repairs they did. Fast, efficient, friendly. Highly recommended.

We called this company and they came out the same day during the time frame they gave us. They did the repair job we needed and everything is working fine. We would call them again.

I went to open my garage door and it started going IN instead of UP. I knew something was wrong. The old tension spring had buckled the track and pulled it completely away from the wall, and it was all just hanging there. The door would not go up or down. I called LG this morning and they said they could come at 2pm. They called me at 1:15 to make sure someone would be there at 2pm and I told them I was just leaving work and would be there by 2pm. I arrived at 2pm and the truck was waiting for me in the driveway.

The service man was here for less than an hour and methodically repaired everything that needed fixing for just over $100. It is a very old door but he did not try to sell me a new door (although he did say near the end of the repair that I might "think about replacing it someday". He did not replace any parts other than those that were clearly broken (the one piece of track).

I called early in the morning. They had a spot open between 1:00 and 3:00. The repairmen arrived at 2:00 and were done by 2:20. They reattached the track on the door quickly and cleanly. I thought the price was reasonable. The door now works just the way it should. I would hire this company again. Lucas Garage Doors is now doing business as LG Garage Doors.

I called the office. He came to my house within 24 hours. He looked at the issue, told me what he would do and gave me a price on the spot. When I accepted his price he ordered the door and had it installed within 1 week. The repair was done immediately.
