Great service.  Went the extra mile to finish the job on time.

She did a great job, very prompt and professional.  It was obvious that she had been doing this along time.  We were especially impressed with the job she did on our old unique lock on our front door.  She re-cored it, which took some time and very intricate work.  Would recommend her/use her services again. 

Arranged with Jan, the owner, to meet me at my residence after a previously scheduled appointment(very accommodating and flexible of her). She arrived promptly and immediately diagnosed the problem (even though I had misidentified the type of lock).
ue to the age and condition of mechanism, she had to piece together parts that she had on hand.  She advised that the condition of the door was causing undue stress on the mechanism so might need to be addressed so problem does not reoccur.Jan gave me the name and glowing review (from personal experience) of another Angies List member who works with doors.
Upon leaving, Jan tightened up and lubricated the front door hardware as well.

Jan answered my call and plans were made for her to come to my home later in the afternoon which she did. She quickly determined that I only needed a part replaced instead of a new lock. I appreciated her honesty and the quick response to my call. I also enjoyed talking to her afterwards about traveling.

Jan came late in the day to help, and had me fixed within 30 minutes!  She had to install a new strike plate and lever.  Prompt, helpful, courteous!

Prompt, courteous, professional service. The owner of the company came to my home and performed the services on the same day I called. Actually within an hour or two. Very good job. Reasonably priced and she was professional and friendly. I would use Janco Lock again in a minute.

I called Jan because I slammed the door too hard and the lock stuck.  She called back soon and came by in an hour.  It only took her a minute to diagnose and repair the lock.  She was here about a month ago and cut a new key for our front door

Nothing much to say other than she a professional, honest, and fair.  I will use her anytime I have a lock issue.

She is an “A” straight through. It’s not the first time that I have used her, I used her in the past.  I recommended her to others.

After calling multiple highly rated locksmiths in Indy, and speaking to the manufacturer of the locking system that was stuck in the locked position, I was starting to think that our front door would never open again and I was looking at a big job. I finally called Janco and spoke to Jan about the problem.  We had a German locking system on the door that no one else would touch.  After doing research on the system for me, she sent our Barry and assured me he was the man for the job.  Barry is a bit quirky, but he knows his locks.  It took him two trips (although I was only charged for one) and he was able to get our door unlocked for us and save us an expensive door and lock replacement job.  Will only use Janco for my door and lock needs in the future!!!

It went very well.  She was very efficient, courteous and did a great job.  I would recommend to others.

Jan was on time and professional. She rekeyed 4 locks in the home I just bought. Unfortunately, she couldn't rekey the storm door lock. I highly recommend her.

Jan replaced all the exterior locks for our house after our recent move in.  She called on her way, was very efficient, and professional.  She was very honest and logical about her recommendations and made me feel very comfortable that I had a real professional working on my house.  She provided options for me to chose from that were the optimal balance between convenience (e.g. making some locks accessible with one key) and cost.

Jan did a great job. She opened a broken lock quickly and efficiently. I was prepared to replace the entire lock, but she was able to repair the lock instead of replacing it. It works fine now.

We interviewed Janco, liked their philosophy and professional manner, and hired them to do any lock work as needed. Several days later, we needed service on new locks for two doors. The next Tuesday, they were on site and completed the removal of old locks and installation of new locks in about 1 hour. No mess, no fuss, just great service. We will use them as our lock needs arise.

Jan did a great job!  She answered my call immediately and worked me in the very next day!  Very knowledgeable, professional and courteous.  Jan did a great job and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a lock smith.  Couldn't have asked for a quicker response and faster service!  Thanks, Jan!

She was great -- very knowledgeable and willing to help me help myself by learning some new things.  The work she did on the locks was quick and focused.  When she was late, she called to let me know and gave me the option of rescheduling.
