For over a century, Busby Drilling Company has been the water well driller of choice in Indianapolis and throughout Central Indiana. Since 1902, we’ve been providing quality residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural well drilling, service and installation. He made a very thorough review of my well performance, looked at the filter residues for indications of casing failure, checked pump motor electrical performance, and checked my pressure tank. Increased tank pressure settings and determined there was a leak in the tank that will eventually require replacement. In all, he spent about an hour, improved my pressure problem, identified maintenance I need to perform, and verified that the rest of the system was OK - and did not charge me for the time, even though I insisted. I was thoroughly satisfied with his knowledge and professionalism. He was very delayed due to problems at a job prior to mine and I had to call the office about him being late. He did arrive on time at the later time we agreed to.

They seemed quite knowledgeable and worked very h****** the project. There were some complications but they tried to solve the problems. Three guys even worked till 11:30 one night trying to correct a problem. The well was 180 feet deep.

John the plumber was on time / seen what has happened – He immediately went to work to replace the busted filter with pipe – thirty minutes, he was done and out of here.

Arrived on time, called 1st... and turned on system. Sent reporl to Carmol water dept. I felt the charges were high. Repair was made and I was not made aware of the cost or asked if I wanted it done. It would be nice if I knew before they performed any work what they normally charge.

After his review, we pulled past invoices and found them to be consistent with past years (2012 for $280.98, 2013 for $205.52 and 2014 for 281.00). He was charged for irrigation start-up of 6 zones, a back-flow test required by the city of [member information removed], replacement of rotors and our skilled mechanics time. It is our practice to review repairs with the customer during our fall winterization, then ask for permission to make repairs in the spring. [member name removed] paid promptly and never contacted us that he was less than pleased with our service."

The well went out in the middle of this last brutal winter, we were working with another company who kept delaying for weeks. Busby was out and completed the project in a matter of days, battling weather barely above freezing. Since then, I will go no where else for all of my work. In the real estate business, timeliness and communication are critical. Busby is always quick to respond and provide a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Busby experienced some difficulty extracting the old wellhead and lines, but they kept trying and were finally successful. It seems the old jet valve had rusted to the steel casing. This extra effort saved us thousands when compared to the expense of drilling a new well.

They were excellent. The Saturday after Thanksgiving we suddenly had no water. I contacted an emergency plumbing company. By the time they came out, the problem had mysteriously resolved itself. By Monday the problem had returned so I called my regular plumber. By the time he came out, the problem had mysteriosly resolved itself again. He thought perhaps our well was going dry so he had me call Busby's. They came out, checked the well, declared it healthy and listened to my tale of woe. Their technician looked at my tank set-up and figured out that my circuit breaker was shorting out intermittently. At the time it was also on a fuse-box which to him seemed redundant. Thankfully he was certified to work on electrical. He took out the fuse-box, corrected the circuit breaker short, and I haven't had a problem since!

THE PRESSURE OF OUR WELL WAS INTERMITTENT AND IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT WE NEEDED TO DRILL A NEW WELL. WE OPTED FOR A SECOND OPINION AND CALLED BUSBY DRILLING CO. AFTER SOME INVESTIGATION, THEY FOUND THAT IT WAS ACTUALLY A VOLTAGE PROBLEM, NOT THE WELL ITSELF. AFTER INSTALLING A VOLTAGE REGULATOR THE PROBLEM IS FIXED.

THEY HAD TO COME OUT 3 TIMES THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIRS. EACH TIME THEY CAME QUICKLY AND DID THE WORK. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH AND EXPLAIN WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

REFUSED TO GIVE ESTIMATE, COST MORE TO REPAIR THAN TO PUT IN ENTIRE SYSTEM, CHARGED $50/HOUR LABOR PER EMPLOYEE, WHEN QUESTIONED THEY SAID THAT'S JUST THE WAY IT IS, THE UPCHARGED ALL PARTS, INCLUDING OVER $4 FOR ELECTRICAL TAPE ROLL. LABOR WAS 14 HOURS
