The great thing about Tony's company is that your kitchen is completed in just a couple of weeks. It is a true custom design. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful. They also installed our hardwood floors that look and all of the appliances. The only downsides were some mis-communications that painting was not included and construction dust clean up could have been better. Still well worth using this team. The final result is fantastic! The fact that I did not have to live in 1/3 of my house for 6 weeks was also a very big plus. Love, Love, Love my Kitchen!

Tony and his crew were great to work with. He listened to our needs and came up with a great design. Naturally we made a few little changes along the way and CC was happy to make the necessary modifications.

Can't say enough good things about Tony and the guys at Cabinet Crafters.  Their workmanship and design skills were great and I was amazed at the innovative features that were available for me to choose from.  I have, and will continue to, recommend Tony to anyone needing cabinets and other home built ins.

Great, we used them for our kitchen remodel and knew we would use them for our bathroom. We also plan to have them do other projects in the house in the coming year

If you are considering custom cabinets for any room, you must talk with cabinet crafters! They define the word custom. Tony Collins came to our house and was able to give us a quote that night. We then met with him at his Alexandria shop. We toured the shop and could immediately tell his work was above any other we had seen. We selected the wood, and he designed the cabinets exactly how I told him. The quote includes soft close drawers, doors, etc full extension drawers, the knobs and pulls, etc. he tailored made my cabinets to include a custom fitted knife drawer, toe kick drawers, cabinet above the oven to hold cutting boards and sheet pans, I selected 2 drawers to have drawers within the drawers to hold my pans lids. Check if your cabinetmaker is making his own doors (most don't), Cabinet Crafters does. All wood is 3/4 inch thick so it eliminates a lot of support pieces that others need. I can't not imagine a more enjoyable process!

First of all the cabinetry fabricated in his shop is awesome.  The finish is very professional.  Once the items reach the install site it can get complicated.  The installers are not able to reproduce the quality of the shop on-site and that diminishes the overall impression of the work delivered in some areas.  If any finish is modified on-site, the patch work leaves a lot to be desired.  The kitchen looks great, but it was a complex process with a few setbacks along the way.  Tony is open to some flexibility, but when it comes to the ones that require financial concerns he can be hesitant to downright stand-offish.  The stairway was tough and we still have a step that is higher than the rest-the best it can be and we'll just try not to trip on it each time we use the stairs.  It did not seem that way before the project started-he insisted that it was that way and he's just dealing-with it too.  The laundry room has tons of storage in it, which is great and better than it was in that regard.  Perhaps the design could have allowed for a bit more access though.  It is tight.  If we have to have the washer or dryer serviced, it will require removal of the cabinets and countertop across from it for instance.  He built-out for a dual fireplace between master bedroom and great room, where a see-through fireplace used to reside.  The mantle he made for the master is nice.  His shop made a beautiful desk for our hearth room and armoire for the fridge/freezer.  We had granite of different grades installed in each room that we remodeled.  The granite install in the master bathroom was very bad.  We never did actually get the correct pieces cut that my wife selected.  Tony actually switched companies due to that issue and the rest of the rooms went smoother with that aspect.  Tough to know where you stand with Tony's allowances on the granite.  Can't seem to get any invoices on that from him-?  After having a fairly solid effort from Tony and his crew for months (about March 2013 to February 2014) we didn't see him back until late June.  Guess he was busy.  There was also a delay with some new doors that had developed cracks.  The most concerning aspect of the project with Tony and his crew relates to maturity and professionalism.  It ranged from super-loud metal band music during the tear-out periods to Tony's attitude on some days that made him seem to have different personalities.  Whenever something was clearly his responsibility, he never would just tell us the truth and work it out with us.  We had plenty of oversights and some collateral damages that we experienced during these many months.  One consistent theme was that Tony would never just admit that he or his crew could have made a mistake.  He would do everything in his power to deny that he had any responsibility at all and that it was impossible that he or his crew may have been involved.  We know mistakes happen and an open, honest dialogue would have gone a long way toward our overall attitude with the completion of this lengthy and expensive project.  The money was a big sticking-point. As the project went along it seemed that each item added-on was coming at a premium when compared to the starting numbers. He did his best to apply lots of pressures to get us to pay the amount he said we owed without negotiations or inquiries.  He could be very pointed with his guilt trips when the amount paid was anything less than he expected to get.  All on his terms.  I would say that a lesson learned here was for us to have had Tony's company do our kitchen and leave it at that.  I think this project got bigger and more complex than he anticipated.  We are particular folks and expect a high standard of work.  That doesn't always settle well with contractors.

It was fine. They did the job on time and did it right. Their prices are very competitive! Our kitchen is beautiful. It was all extremely well made for at least half the price.

Tony told me if I paid for the project in full, in advance, my kitchen would be completed before Christmas.  One week  before Christmas, he installed the cabinets but not the counter tops.  He stated it was not his fault.  He said the granite people were very busy and could not get my counter tops until after the first of January.  He placed the old counter top back on one side and re-installed the old sink so that I could do the dishes.  He wired under the cabinet lighting for free as a way to apologize.  I did appreciate that.  Then the day before the counter top was to be measured, his secretary phoned me to say the counter top I selected was going to cost me $1000.00 more.  She said there had been an increase in price from the time I had paid in October until January.  She told me it was not fair for a small business like theirs to have to absorb the cost and that they would like for me to pay the difference.  I told her I would have to have my attorney check my contract and I would call her back.  She called me back 4 hours later and said the problem was resolved and I would not have to pay more.  I did not see Tony after that.  He did not come on the day of installation or phone to ask if I was satisfied with the job.  I have to assume that he was angry with me for not paying the extra money.  This company does excellent work.  Their cabinets are surburb quality.  The price is well worth what you get.  Tony is a very nice man.  He needs to know that it is important to be a "Man of your word".  Be sure to get it in writing when working with him.
