A Notch Above The Rest

We highly recommend this company! We have had Levi and his “A Notch Above the Rest” team remove 4 large trees for us, as well as trim several others. The last tree was a 75’ River Birch that leaned over our home and was a great threat to our roof. They came and removed it, and the yard looks cleaner than before they started the project, which they finished in a morning! Great service, very prompt, and couldn’t ask for better! Thanks, Levi and team for your marvelous work!!

Levi & his crew did an AWESOME job of safely cutting down the 2 trees. I was very impressed by how quickly they were done, and they cleaned up the yard great. I will definitely call Levi again for any tree cutting/trimming that I need! And they did the work at an EXTREMELY reasonable & FAIR price, much lower than the other 2 estimates that I got.

It took a day and a half to complete both of our trees. Workers were here on time when promised. The trees were trimmed safely and completely. The crew did a thorough job of cleaning up the yard after their work each day. They cleaned out the gutters on the house when they finished the trees. We were very happy with the job they did and would definitely contact them the next time we need trees trimmed.

I have a rental property in Anderson, IN.  I had completed some tree trimming/removal and realized it was a larger job than I had anticipated for myself. I had some tree limbs that I wanted removed from the property.  In addition, there was one large tree on the property that I wanted trimmed and 2 trees (1 medium, 1 small) that I wanted removed. There were also 3-4 small tree trunks (5-6 ft high) left over from my initial efforts that I wanted cut down and removed.  I contacted Levi just prior to the Christmas holiday. He was hospitalized at the time, but still took the time to make arrangements for the work.  I was in no hurry, so we agreed to a date after the New Year.  Levi's crew came to the residence on the date agreed upon and completed all of the work as requested in one day.  I would recommend Levi and his business, and use his services again in the future. After seeing a previous negative review for this company, I think it's worth mentioning that it really says something about a person's character and work ethic, when, even though hospitalized, Levi made the effort to return my call and follow through on estimating, scheduling and completing this job.  He met me in person to perform the estimate, as well as met me following completion to ensure that I was satisfied with the work that had been completed.  Extremely professional and very friendly - well done.

I had them come over and fix a landscaping job that another company had messed up. It took him about 3 days.

The name of the company says it all as on the day of service they could not have been beaten. Owner could not make it on the day work was to be perfomed so he did a drive-by and a walk-thru with one of his crew members a few days before job was to be done and showed him what needed to be accomplished.
I was called the day before stating that they would be at my home the next morning, weather permitting, and they would call first. Well, they called me that morning saying that they would be at my house at a certain time, and they were. A crew of three (3) did the work to perfection. One up in the tree doing the cutting, one on the ground cutting pieces into smaller limbs and the third one hauling the pieces from my backyard to the the shredder on the street in front of home. When they had finished with all the heavy work, all of them cleaned up the yard down to the final leaf. After their work was completed, a knock on the door, a payment made and a shake of hands with all three was the end of a fantastic job performed by this company.
The next evening I received a phone call from the owner asking if I was satisfied. I want all to know that I praise this business highly and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree service.

Levi and his men did a wonderful job. They went above and beyond what was originally asked. He weeded, trimmed and cleared out just as if it was his home. Very pleased with all the work that was done. Plan to use Levi and his team for numerous future projects. I highly recommend them.

A Notch Above the Rest's communication was very helpful. They were efficient and they did exactly what I asked them to do. They did it quickly in a time frame that I wanted it to be done.

He worked on it for over an hour and now it works good. It wasn't opening and closing correctly. In the past he has trimmed my trees, he is a landscaper as well he does a good job. He also washes windows in and out and does a good job. He does any maintenance work you need and he is reasonable and efficient. If he can't do the work he finds someone who cans at a reasonable price. I am handicapped and my husband has passed away and my son Steve, who is my power of attorney, has kept on top of his work and is very pleased with his work. He is trusting and does not take advantage of a woman who is alone. After he's done with the jobs, he cleans up and hauls away any material or debris left over but there is an additional charge for that because he has to pay for the disposal.
