Ramon and Sons Sewer and Water Incorporated

We had a completely blocked sewer line which left us with some water in our basement, and unable to use water or waste lines in our home which is a challenge for an active family of five. We had one company provide an initial quote but I didn't feel great about it so I reached out for other quotes via Angi. We heard back from Ramon within the hour and scheduled a visit for early the next morning. He walked me through every step of their process and showed me exactly what our issue was with his camera. It was important to him that I understand what was wrong and how they would fix it. His quote was more reasonable than the initial quote and I felt much more confident in his company. I agreed to have Ramon and Sons do the work and they got started later that afternoon after securing permits from the city. He and his crew (Byron was the crew leader) were absolutely awesome! The work ended up being more challenging than originally anticipated but they kept me posted and provided me options. Ultimately, they completed the work in a timely, professional, and competent fashion. We are extremely pleased with their service and would certainly use them again (though we hope not to have to)... I would recommend them highly and without reservation.

Ramon and Sons is a very professional and courteous company. I was very comfortable with Ramon and his crew. Ramon was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with my concerns. I called first thing in the morning for sump pump not working and standing water in crawl space. Ramon had his crew at my home the same afternoon. The crew was very polite and respectful. They where able to drain the standing water and replace the sump pump and reroute the sump line outside to help drain better. Ramon's crew was very knowledgeable and professional. They went above and beyond to help making sure I was satisfied with the quality of the worked performed. They answered all my questions and explained everything to me very thoroughly. Ramon called the next day to follow up and make sure everything was okay and to see if I had any other questions or concerns. Pricing was extremely reasonable. I'm very pleased with the customer service I received. I will definitely being using them again and would highly recommend them. I'm beyond thankful for Ramon and his crew for the work they did for me. Couldn't be more pleased with the customer service. Ramon & Sons is a honest,reliable, and very friendly company. They take great pride into their work and make sure their customers are completely satisfied.

Called Ramon for basement flooded. Ramon and crew came out same day. They wasted no time time diagnosing the problem and explaining everything in detail. The flooding of the basement was caused by root blockage in the middle of the yard. Upon excavating the line they noticed that the sewer pipe was orangeburg pipe and the entire line had to be replaced. Line was completely deteriorated. Ramon and crew worked all day to get the job completed in 1 day. I would/will highly recommended them. Very pleased with the customer service they provided. Pricing was very reasonable.

Alex of Beezees sent out Ramon & Sons to rod our sewer and they got their rod stuck and said we needed $5,800 to get it out and “fix” our sewer! I called the village of Mundelein and they sent a crew to scope the line and they said there were only roots no damage and the company should have removed their line because it is only 22 inches from the cleanout. That cleanout was only 2 feet deep but he quoted me at where his rod was "stuck" which was 9 feet down and would require street work and permits... When I talked to the rodding company owner, Ramon of Ramon & Sons, and told him the facts he said, because we were white and he was not that we were accusing him of being dishonest. The race card! So having the facts from the village and another plumbing company I gave Ramon the option to get his rod out and finish the job and he will get paid or I will have someone else get it out and I will charge him. After a few choice words from Ramon that he wasn't going to f***ing pay he eventually sent a crew to finish the job. It took them 10 minutes to get their stuck rod out! 10 minutes. The same rod they were going to charge my $5,800. 10 minutes. Is he dishonest or bad at his job? I would never recommend Beezees or Ramon & Sons. I have left messages for Alex, the owner of Beezees. He refuses to call me back. Since he won't call I can only assume he must support such actions if he sends people like this out to his customers. Trust but verify. We did and they were caught. Thanks to the village of Mundelein for protecting their residents!

It went GREAT!  We haven't slept this well through thunderstorms since we moved in here in 2002!  Ramon was very professional  He explained the problem and presented solutions.  When he came to do the work he brought a team of 4 people.  They worked very efficiently and completed the work in 2 days. In spite of the nature of the work being dirty and wet, the house was immaculate when he left.  He is reliable, conscientious, and very knowledgeable about his line of work.
The pump has been working great for 3 months now and in spite of heavy rains our basement has not seen one drop of water!
