 + 4 moreAfter 18 months the carpentry work was only partially completed. Gutter work, which was paid in advance, was never started. never completed. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Eric Heide, owner, was completely unreliable and consistently failed to deliver on his promises and commitments. He has been unresponsive to all requests to return monies paid for material and service that he did not deliver. Google "Eric Heide" and you will find many other bad reviews. I wish we had done this to begin with. "Be Prepared" and stay clear of this cheat!
Description of Work: Carpentry work. Frame in and apply siding to camp pavillion. Install gutters. Exterior painting.

 + 0 moreThe contractor cashed the check before any work was completed. He kept communication up with us as he was stealing out $3000. He lied to us the entire time we were waiting for him to start the work. He never submitted our plans to the village to be approved.
Description of Work: We signed a contract to have a gazebo built in the midst of having some patio work finished up, and he was supposed to start work when that was done.

Description of Work: I still can't believe what happened. Totally got taken and kept hoping he would do the right thing and at the very least bring me the furniture he said was completed. I naively put down a large deposit and have nothing but incomplete flawed work to show for it and no actual furniture. Very disappointed. Please do not use this man or his service. He talks a nice talk and seems kind but he does not have the resources to follow thru on any of his promises.
