White Glove Building Inspections

Damage to Property is as follows: 1. Failure to re-energize the furnace causing great discomfort to occupants including 79 year old adult. 2. Failure to re-secure external craw space entrance allowing animal access 3. Broke trim off of storage shed 4. Left mud at front entry and on carpet. 5. Large ladder placed on living room carpet. This ladder was not necessary and was not used. 6. Reset and changed appliance control settings without warning the occupant. 7. Relocated items without restoring their position 8. Three people who attempted the inspection blocked each other and were at best superfluous as they increased minor damage. 9. Increased occupant's water bill charge by running washer at full tub setting 10.Further access was denied. White Glove declined comment, thereby showing total lack of concern for their customers Pictorial Evidence of Damage Available.

The house I had made an offer on had been sitting vacant for about 6 months. It was clean but I was nervous about having a home inspection because you never know if there are hidden problems that will require expensive repairs. I was relieved that Mr. Drenthe was so knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to answer any questions I had. He also let me know much to my relief that this was a solidly built home and that there appeared to be no corners cut when it was built. He gave me a folder containing a copy of the inspection agreement, a summary sheet showing what areas were inspected and any areas of major concern observed during the inspection, a handy maintenance brochure of the steps to take if any household system stopped working (plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, etc.) and of course his business card. He stated he would have the written report of his inspection results completed within 2 days which he did and sent it on to my mortgage company, as well as emailing a copy to me. I would definitely recommend using White Glove Inspections as I found them to be professional, courteous and thorough.
