By Illinois law, an animal removal permit must be requested from the IDNR before most species of wildlife may be removed from private property. Jerry has been very informative throughout this ordeal. The skunk den is under a cement slab under our deck. Our powder room exhaust fan vents out under the deck. The skunk smell has been getting into our home. Jerry recommended a certain air freshener and air purifier as well as to leave front windows open and keep fan running. Jerry has been great about coming to our home as promised and removing the skunks. He determined that we had 2 other access points. Jerry set 2 additional traps. There is a fee per skunk removal which is lower cost than other comparable companies. He is super responsive, friendly, and informative. His

"Squirrels were accessing customers roof via a river birch tree. I advised customer that unless he did something about his tree issue the problem would keep occurring. Several squirrels were trapped and removed , Cust followed suggestion and trimmed the tree. A friend handed Mr. [Member Name Removed] a business card and told Mr. [Member Name Removed] he would be happy to repair hole squirrels made in facia, once squirrels were removed . 2 months later I get a call from Mr. [Member Name Removed] about scurrying noises in attic. He either did not trim his trees correctly or he is hearing mice in his attic and nothing else . There is no way that squirrels were left in his attic for 2 moths without being able have access to food and water. His memory of the facts is questionable ! As I had a witness to the entire conversation ."
I called again today and left another detailed message, PLUS I sent the same message via his website contact form. This time he did call back within an hour. He acknowledged my call of 3 weeks and said I was "one of many" callers that he couldn't get back to because he was so busy with work, had so many clients needing skunk removals right now, and was working so much he just didn't have time. He then told me that he feels bad, for me and many others, but he's not taking any new business this spring. I suggested he put a note on his website stating as much so people like me wouldn't waste our time, and he replied, and I quote, "Nope. I'm not going there. Sorry I can't help you, good luck." I've now lost 3 weeks and the raccoon is going to have babies pretty soon, up in my attic.
I fully understand "too busy to take on new clients." He's probably very good at what he does, and I'm happy for him that he is so gainfully employed. I just don't appreciate my phone call for help being ignored like that. I'm leaving this review so others looking for help this spring won't waste time waiting for this company to respond.
"Anyone that would wait 3 weeks for someone to get back to them with a raccoon living inside the attic / walls is silly ! This woman mentioned she had hired another trapper for squirrel issues prior . I sensed she was unhappy with that person / company . Although she could have called him / them back or someone else in the meantime , Instead of waiting 3 weeks . I apologized for being unable to get back to her . Sour Grapes ! I dont owe this woman anything but that apology ! I can't imagine someone like this leaving this kind of review , when I never did any work for her . I am glad I did not . Sour Grapes !! Her story did not make much sense in the first place ."
